Perfect Retreat

I loved staying at this property. This cute condo was on the first floor. So close to the beach I was able to see the sunrise from the very comfy bed! Meigan and Ken were so kind and were always available for any questions. Was perfect for me!

Cozy rental

My adult kids, son-in-law and I spend a cozy weekend in the apartment. We had everything we could need and I loved the little kitchen. We enjoyed it very much!

Great location

This is a tiny apartment but well equipped. Don’t plan to do much cooking as the kitchen is tiny. This apartment is ok for 4 but 6 would be cramped. Covered porch leaks with any rain (we had four straight days of rain). Nicely furnished; very nice TVs; two-minute walk to lovely beach. Needs better lighting in twin bedroom.

Amazing stay in Beach Haven

Our stay was absolutely amazing ! Unit location is literaly on the beach :). Unit is totally renovated, very clean and fully stocked ! Thank you so much Megan and Ken!

Great vacation

We had a lovely week at LBI. The condo was as described, plus it had some updates (new TVs, new twin beds, picnic table), which were much appreciated. The owners are lovely people who allowed me to bring my little dog, who wound up loving the beach! This was our second stay at the condo, and I would recommend it for its location and reasonable price.

Great location!

We love Beach Haven, and rented this space as my family has outgrown another nearby rental. Two children and two adults slept well in comfy beds. The only issue was resolved promptly by owner and local handy person. We had a great stay, and hope to return!

Hidden Gem steps from the beach

We loved our stay here as we are beach lovers. Steps from the beach, the inside decor really puts you in a beach mood. There are outside showers, a washer and dryer in a separate room, and a very spacious deck/patio with a grill and large table and benches. Inside is immaculate, with what looks like new bedding. There are 3 air conditioners and also heaters. There are 2 convenient parking places. This is a large first floor condo, convenient if you want to avoid steps. The beach itself is guarded and beautiful. Suggestions to future renters would be to bring your own sheets ( 2 queen and 2 twin beds), towels including hand and bath towels and a hair dryer. This property is well taken care of and lovely.

Amazing Location

What a great location. Steps from the beach. So close to shopping, Bay Village, restaurants and entertainment. Very clean and comfortable place with lots of thoughtful details. Bike rack for the bikes, outdoor showers, washer and dryer. Grill and outdoor picnic table . Made everything so easy!!!!! Great friendly hosts. Loved our stay.

A real gem!

It was wonderful to be able to go back and forth from beach since it is literally steps away, have a clean and well maintained property with lots of amenities. Hosts were superb. We will be back!

Another great stay and wonderful upgrades!

This is our 6th summer staying here, and this year was a surprise with even more upgrades from 2023. Beautiful new quality blinds, freshly painted rooms and windows, reconfigured master bedroom which makes for easier access to the nice queen bed. New beds in the smaller bedroom, new bedspreads, upgraded fixtures/lighting in the kitchen and master bedroom. Brand new TVs in the master bedroom and living room. Old furniture was changed out for some smaller profile/more functional furniture giving the place a much larger feel! One of the tables was completely repainted and reupholstered giving it new life! Plus, brand new, nice looking, quality deck furniture was added. Much love and care was put into the whole condo renovation! Host was very courteous and responsive. Condo is 1 house from the beach! Fantastic location and very reasonably priced! Very clean! Thanks again for another great summer!

Great location!

The description of the property was accurate. You can't be any closer to the beach. Communication was very good with hosts. There was a slight issue with previous renters leaving towels and other items behind and not cleaning up after themselves like they should. I spoke with the hosts and they felt horrible. Actually refunded my cleaning fee because there must have been a mix-up with the cleaning service due to it being pre-season and mid-week. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property and as I previously stated....you can't beat the location.

Next to the beach!!

The location is awesome! The unit was nice, beds comfortable, and enough room. It was very hard to find the lock box since I arrived at night. The unit had dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and a lot of sand on the floor. Other than that, it was an excellent stay.

Perfect Location

Perfect location for family trip to beach with small kids. So easy to walk to the beach. The stretch of beach was so quiet it felt like a private beach for us. But so close to great restaurants and bay village. Loved it!

Awesome location, not so awesome ending

We rented for a girls trip for memorial weekend. Just 2 of us. We frequently visit the island and this was the first time we stayed this far south. The apartment is adorable. Spacious enough for the 2 of us. The listing stated that the apartment is cleaned between each guests visit. It wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t clean either. There was sand all over the floor, dust bunnies under the tables and in the bedrooms. The furniture was not dusted. We wiped everything down, swept the floors, shookout the rugs, one by door and the other in the kitchen,(the broom is on the side of the fridge, it took us a minute to find it) and even used the wet swiffer to clean the floors as well. Sadly, my friend left her hair dryer and brush in the bathroom with her towel, bath mat and wash cloth. She reached out to the owners and they said the cleaning team normally throws things away, they put a call in to the cleaners and thankfully they didn’t throw it away. She made arrangements to retrieve it with them. Hopefully she will be able to. The issue came when I was notified by VRBO that a $150 service fee was assessed because the place was a mess! That couldn’t be further from the truth…honestly! We are women in our 50’s and pride ourselves on doing nice things for people. Hell I even fluffed the pillows on the couch and gave them a karate chops! Yes, there were items forgotten but that doesn’t constitute a mess! I called VRBO and they called the owners., they rescinded the cleaning fee. Thankfully

Great Trip

My family and I had a great stay. Great location, steps away from beach access, and overall a comfortable home. The deck in the front is nice and in the shade so you can enjoy the sound of the ocean while relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea. You can also hear the ocean from the bedrooms! Thank you for having us in your summer home. We loved every moment of our stay. We will look to book again in the future!

LBI getaway right on the beach

Our stay was excellent and the host were kind to let us bring my 10 pound service dog even though they don’t allow pets. They did charge us a fee, which was fine. We now LBI well since we’ve been coming for the past 50 years, I would say the overall experience was excellent.

The space worked very well for two couples. If the twin beds were of equal height, it would have made the second bedroom a bit more comfortable

AFTER VACATIONING IN LBI FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS WE ALWAYS HAD A DREAM OF OWNING OUR OWN PLACE ON THE ISLAND. AFTER SAVING FOR MANY YEARS WE FINALLY MADE OUR DREAM COME TRUE IN EARLY 2009 WITH THE PURCHASE OF OUR PLACE WHICH MY WIFE NAMED 'MEANT TO BE'. THE REASON WE MADE THE PURCHASE WAS TO HAVE A PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO SPEND QUALITY TIME TOGETHER. THE REASON WE PURCHASED 'MEANT TO BE' WAS SIMPLY THAT IT IS 25 FEET TO THE OCEAN IN THE SOUGHT AFTER LEHYC SECTION AND WE JUST LOVE THE BEACH AND ALL THAT LBI HAS TO OFFER US. WE FEEL VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE A PLACE JUST 25 FEET AWAY FROM A LIFEGUARD BEACH ON A DEAD END STREET.
