This place was perfect for visiting for a cubs game, within easy walking distance and easy check in. I think it should be noted for tall people, you will need to duck in majority of the place because it is in a basement with air ducts. It should also be noted for light sleepers, since you are in a basement you will hear everything on the floor above you, bring ear plugs or noise machine. Overall good value and stay.

This is a great location!Great communication with Rachel.We were a little apprehensive about the street parking but it was pretty easy. And the street is one of the widest one-way streets I’ve ever seen in Chicago!The apartment is great, plenty of room, bedroom is in the back, ideal if one of us wanted to stay up a little later.I would definitely consider staying here again!

Our stay at the Bear Den was perfect! We were in town for a concert series and the venue was a short walk from the unit, and the trains and busses were easily accessible for everything else we wanted to do while we were there. The host was very helpful and communicative as well, making the stay a breeze. Highly recommended, and we look forward to staying there again the next time we are in the Windy City!

If Wrigley is your goal, this is your spot. Minutes from the field, very safe neighborhood, plenty of street parking, plenty of bars and good eats close by. Also, it's only a 15 minute walk to the Red Line as well so we utilized the L to get around town which was fun.PROS: location, helpful host, spacious for 2, full kitchen, clean, cold ACCONS: if your tall, ceilings a little low in spots. My only other suggestions would be a closet organizer, or someplace to hang clothes up (its tough living out of a suitcase lol) and a larger mirror.

Cubs birthday weekend

We had a great time at Wrigley Field. The field, restaurants and bars were all very walkable. The neighborhood was great. We actually fell in love and look forward to coming back.

This is a really comfy property, but I was a little nervous checking in just because it’s basement, accessible from a very narrow alleyway. Once I got in, I felt very safe. It was a perfect location and the neighborhood is really wonderful. It was sort of cold, but there were plenty of heaters so it warmed up very well. I did suggest that they add a lamp in the living room and the bedroom for sure. Otherwise, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Getaway for Wrigley

We had a great time, and were able to walk everywhere. Parking passes are provided. Yhe hosts were very responsive. I was also very glad to have the little space heaters around, because there is no other way to control the temperature. If you are tall (6ft) you might have a problem with the ceiling height. It was perfect for us and our dog though. He loved all the dog friendly patios. Would definitely stay here again!

Great neighborhood and amazing location

This spot is located perfectly to walk to anywhere within Wrigleyville and the neighborhood is quiet. The owners make sure you have the proper parking passes for the neighborhood and finding parking was not an issue. Being pet friendly was nice and the neighborhood has lots of dogwalkers out and about too! Plenty of hot water for showers. No direct control of the heat and the furnace was a little loud if you are staying over the winter, but space heaters and dehumidifiers were a much appreciated bonus.

We came into town for a baseball game. It was an easy walk to Wrigley Field and restaurants. It was perfect for our needs. We had no issues finding parking. The apt was adequately appointed. As noted in other reviews, the duct work may be an issue for someone 6ft.

Nice little place to stay. Within easy walking distance to Wrigleyville, plenty of eating options, grocery store. All communication with host was answered quickly. We were given parking passes but we didn’t drive. Overall happy with our experience. Would definitely stay again!! We also felt very safe walking the area even at night after the ball games.
