Come stay in this beautiful vintage building from 1845 overlooking Downtown Galena. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with 1 queen bed and 1 double bed, living room,dining room, and kitchen. This apartment has no stairs to climb. WiFi included. Please note the entrance for this apartment is located at 232 S. Bench Street. Children under 16 not allowed. NO PETS are allowed. We also have 8 other apartments available in the same building to select from.

You can park anywhere on Bench Street where the entrance to the property is located.

Rates are based on Double Occupancy.

Perfect location in Galena right in the middle of everything. We were able to watch the Jeep parade from the living room window. It snowed heavily while we were there and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Definitely would stay again.

Great Place to Stay

This is an adorable place to stay overlooking Main Street in Galena. Accommodations were great. Could walk everywhere .... eating, shopping, tours, etc.

Great location/ Very clean

Took a weekend off for a girls' trip to Galena. This property was a perfect landing spot for us. Easy walking distance to all the shops and food with a great view as well. It was very clean, plenty of space, and good communication from our host.

Beautiful Apartment Right On Mainstreet!

This place is more spacious than the photos suggest. It was clean and well stocked for a small group. The views of Main Street are beautiful. The owner was prompt in his communication and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything was great

We enjoyed everything. The apartment was very nice, the location is excellent. The only downside was I had a difficult time finding a parking spot when we first got there and had to park really far, but after things quieted down I was able to repark closer.

Friends weekend

This was a great place to stay! It was perfect for a couple of old friends to meet up and goof off for a weekend. Clean, matched online description. Owner made this super easy. Would definitely stay at this or one of his other properties again!

Awesome views

Location was perfect, everything was in walking distance. The view out the front windows was so beautiful with the Christmas lights on all the stores! My daughter and I stayed 2 nights, never even turned the tv on, we just sat in front of the windows and enjoyed the view. Very clean, updated, comfortable apartment. Highly recommend!

Main Street Apartment

The apartment was as listed. Clean and good size for 2 to 4 people. We were able to walk everywhere. It was perfect for what we wanted.

Excellent stay.

Our unit was perfect for us. We parked on the road directly behind us on Bench Street and left it there all weekend. Our entrance was on Bench street so it was perfect. Our unit front window faced the busy street and was nice to sit in the window to relax and people watch! The unit itself was perfect. Big kitchen, tho we just used the fridge and coffee pot. We highly recommend this place.

Amazing location!!!

Would definitely stay here again! Loved the window chairs for morning coffee, people watching and wine! Kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Parking along Bench St was easy and allowed for direct apt access, nice not to have to drag luggage up stairs. Beds were SO comfortable!! Perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, Grant Park and the river walk. Also only 25 min from Mines of Spain near Dubuque of you wanna squeeze hiking in. Will be back!

Perfect getaway in Galena

The apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway stay in Galena. Two nice bedrooms with dressers, a large eat in kitchen with everything we needed to cook or prepare whatever we wanted, a large living room with comfortable furniture and a huge TV to enjoy during down time, and a clean bathroom with plenty of fluffy bath towels. We appreciated the ceiling fans and AC. The living room has large rounded windows overlooking the historical downtown Galena (Hotel Desoto right across the street), which is a lively and beautiful view, and the entrance on Bench street is easy to find and navigate. The location is absolutely perfect. Street parking easy to find and convenient. The bedding was comfortable and everything was spotless clean. We'll definitely be back!

February weekend in Galena

Great location. Although I was worried about parking, it was unwarranted. Since it is off season we were able to park right in front of the door. Easy access to apartment and very spacious. I did have to clean up some dried powder( coco powder?) off the kitchen counter and the kitchen sink had some stains it was easy enough to clean up. The rest of the apartment was clean. Managers were quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved being right downtown with the easy access to restaurants, stores and bars. I definitely recommend this place and would stay again .

This apartment has the perfect location on Main Street. A friend and I visited for a spa weekend which happened to be the same weekend as the holiday celebration so parking was tricky, but we found spots. Easy to walk to anything on Main Street. Very clean, easy check-in. Minimal kitchen supplies, but sufficient. Blackout curtains in bedrooms were great!

Visited during Galena's Country Fair with my mom & friend in celebration of my mom's 75th birthday. This was a perfect location which was a short walk to Grant's Park, and also VERY close to everything Main Street has to offer. The unit was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the bay window overlooking Main Street for a little people watching while resting our own feet. Would definitely stay again.
