Alpenglow Inn - Entire Home with stunning view.

This vintage style homestead was built in the 80’s from lumber milled on the property. This is a unique stay where you will be immersed in eclectic Alaskan charm. The property is still owned and managed by the family of the original homesteaders who built the house themselves. This endearing home is situated overlooking a picturesque view of mountains and marsh, that is frequented daily by moose and swans. The first floor of this bnb has a kitchen fully stoked with amenities and opens up into a spacious dining/living area. The abundance of windows provide wonderful views and effervescent light. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, decorated with heirlooms and art made by Alaskans. This unique stay will be sure to excite any adventurer looking for an authentic experience. This property has been in our family for many many years and we are humbled to be able to share it with like-minded individuals who are charmed by the historic roots of our small town.

This cabin was just what we needed for a week in Seward. Close enough to drive to town but far enough out to be quiet. The host was very quick and efficient with her communication and that made checkin a breeze.

Beautiful location, comfortable beds and great communication from host.It was great to disconnect (no wifi) to enjoy the views. Enjoyed Moose, swans and eagles in the area.

The house was in a great location with beautiful views through the huge windows! The large clean rooms and kitchen gave us plenty of space to relax. We saw river otters and swans in the ponds a few steps away from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

This house is conveniently located, just a few minutes out of the main part of Seward. The house was cozy and spacious. The host communication was prompt and friendly. The driveway is large in case you are driving a large van or other large vehicle, like we had. Heads up, there's no wifi, but that wasn't a huge problem for us.

Super cute, charming house with great views. Perfect location with easy access to everywhere. Had everything we needed plus some. I will stay here again if I return to the area!

Great spot

Quiet and clean spot, loved the windows and view. Needed coffee - bring your own! Great dining room table to play games with friends while the sun goes down

Great house with great views

Our hosts were very thoughtful and even had the lights turned on when we arrived. The view from the house was stunning and the house itself was so very cute. It really did give German cottage vibes. Loved it

Note there is no internet. Also, no TV unless you have Apple phone. Beds were comfortable and house was clean.

Fantastic views from the big windows!

This place feels like real Alaska. Excellent location for wildlife spotting, and the mountain views are fantastic. Easy drive into Seward, and the Kenai Fjords Nat Park’s Exit Glacier area. Plenty of space in the house for moving around, surrounded by private property outside. It’s not perfect, but it’s getting there! ( ex.WiFi )

Great, cozy property. Very close to Seward and a supermarket, but in a quiet place. Great mountain views from the living room, and big living room for the whole family to spend time together. Well stocked kitchen.Host was excellent with easy communication.If you are a tourist, be careful that there is no WIFI/TV Service so you will need a data plan in your phone, from ATT or Verizon. T-Mobile has no coverage in Alaska so you need the other companies, or have local data roaming activated (In my case i had only 5Gb of local roaming available from T-Mobile, that ran out on the first day, after that it moved to 2G speed). It may be good to get the kids out of the screens and enjoy table games.Overall a very good experience!

Everything was wonderful, but I think the property description should also mention how many birds are seen right outside the window. As bird enthusiasts, we were pleasantly surprised to be able to sit and identify so many varieties.
