Also known as Captain's Quarters. Conveniently located halfway between the Seward small boat harbor and Seward´s historic downtown. Both are within a short walking distance along a coastal trail that is just one block from the front door. The trail is part of the original Iditarod Trail. Very clean and private with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, wifi, DirectTV/DVD, Washer and Dryer and a BBQ. this unit also has a futon style couch that folds flat and could sleep one to two more people. Bringing the total to 6 people. Adjacent to our other vacation rental unit (VRBO Listing #738304). This is great for someone who is wanting to have a rental for 8 to 10 people, as the two units are side by side. Owned and operated by a 4´th generation Seward, Alaskan.

This was a perfect location to stay before boarding our cruise. The washer/dryer allowed us to start the cruise with all clean clothes. It is very quaint and plenty of room for us - 4 adults traveling together.

A great little place within walking distance to basically everything Seward has to offer downtown. There is only heat in the living area so if you tend to get cold and are visiting during the shoulder/colder seasons, it’s something to consider. The place was clean and having laundry was a really great bonus! Thanks for hosting us!

What a wonderful evening to spent enjoying the Reservation Bay view with the binoculars to look for wildlife! The mountains were alive in the apenglow of the evening sun. We even saw seals from the balcony! Perfect space for a grandmother and two grandchildren. They loved it as much as I did and for teenagers to say that, you know it's a good place to stay! Close to the bay to explore, close to restaurants, close to events to go and see. What more could you ask for!

Pros: new carpet, coffee supplies, new dishwasherCons: very few necessary supplies ( no spices or cooking oil, 2 spoons, broken can opener, laundry detergent, shampoo and body wash appeared to be left by prior guest).Host gave us code to get into the house 10 or 15 minutes prior to check in, most hosts give codes 24 hours in advance.Strong musty/moldy smell under kitchen and bathroom sinks and moldy shower curtain.Tub does not hold water.Place is heated by a propane stove in the living room with no ducting to bath or bedrooms. So it’s hot in living room and cold in other rooms.Poor communication from hosts when concern was shown about not having cell phone coverage to get the code to get in

Great location in central Seward. If you are traveling with campers this place is great! Just a block from the RV park and close to the playground. Spacious for a family of 3. All the amenities you need for a weekend away.

A great location to all the fun things to do in Seward. It was a perfect rest spot for my daughter and I. Walkable to the docks.

Brief visit to Seward

Enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to the harbor and restaurants. And the stove was wonderful after a cold wet day on the water.

Relaxed, comfy stay in Seward!

I spent two nights here on a work trip. It was very clean, well-maintained, a block from Waterfront Park, and close to everything else. All the appliances worked well, it was stocked with coffee and tea, and the bed and couches were comfy!
