The primary bedroom suite has a king bed, with an additional bedroom that has a king bed. There is an eat-in kitchen and a wood-gas burning slate fireplace.
Come enjoy all that Carmel has to offer. Minutes from some of the best golf courses in the world, fantastic boutique shopping, first class restaurants, the spectacular Big Sur coastline, 17 Mile Drive, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and amazing dog friendly beaches.

We loved our stay at this property and were so thankful for Susan’s kindness in hosting us along the way. The house was perfectly located, clean, comfortable sleeping and living accommodations, easy check in/out…it simply met all of our needs. We would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the Monterey Peninsula area!

Best hidden gem in Carmel
The home is located in a neighborhood with mostly locals and not many tourists. It’s comfortable and relaxing to stay there. Since the house is on a hill, the view from the living room is mostly trees instead of houses. I will definitely be booking this house again.

An enjoyable stay
The property is nice, quiet, and spacious. We enjoyed having meals in the kitchen and catching Netflix at night after a day of sightseeing. The location is perfect, and we can walk into town. It's close to the highway which makes the day trip to Big Sur and Monterey easy. Checking in and out is a breeze as well. The window treatment can use some fixing, but we just kept them down the whole time. :) Overall a very good stay, and Susan is a good host.

2nd time
This is our second time renting this house. It is in a great location convenient to town. The house has an enclosed backyard for the dogs. Because we were here in January when we had the storms, we walked the dogs in downtown Carmel where there are sidewalks and they really enjoyed it. Would rent this house again.

Great Location
Perfectly located for access to both downtown Carmel and Highway 1. The neighborhood is blessedly quiet and wonderfully woodsy.
The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is large and well outfitted. One warning though, if you have a large car like my Explorer, be prepared to possibly fold in your side view mirrors before entering and exiting the garage. 😊
