Me encanta Carmel. Hemos vivido en Carmel por muchos años y puedo decirles, seguramente que la casa y la ciudad de Carmel y Monterey son perfecto para los niños, los abuelos, un perro - toda la familia. Hay trés cuartos de dormir y dos baños bastante elegantes. La playa está circa y si quieres, puedes andar.

Our stay in Carmel by the Sea was amazing. Great location, close to downtown. The home was great for our little one and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

The hosts were extremely responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay at this home and would stay again. Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.

Great place - great communication from host - clean - easy checkout which can often be much more labored as far as clean up expectations - we used all their recommendations & all great - when needed a question answered - host responded quickly- uber driver had been there many times before which says a lotv

Cool unique home in a great location

We enjoyed staying at this house. Great to reconnect with family and just relax in Carmel. Check in was easy the house exceeded our expectations.

Lovely property. Very spacious and well kept. Suitable for all ages from very young to a bit older ((like me). Holly, the host, was very communicative even months in advance, and bent over backwards to provide info about restaurants that I had asked about. Both Whole Foods and Safeway were in very near driving distance and the kitchen in the house had plenty of cooking equipment. The appliances are all new and state of the art. What more could you ask for?

Better than expected, really. The home was very well appointed. The sleeping areas are well away from the common area, which is nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset from upstairs porch.

Great location for everything, especially for the Bach Festival. The owner was constantly available and answered all our questions. Just a wonderful home and experience overall.

July 4 in Carmel

I visited Carmel with my mother, grandmother, and a family friend over the week of July 4. This house was beautiful and well located - exactly what we were looking for. The host, Holly, was responsive and accommodating.

Loved this home!

This home was lovely with excellent items in stock and available to use! Very comfortable main living room with plenty of seating for everyone. Having a fenced in yard was great for the pets!

We had a great family weekend in Carmel at Holly and Richard’s house. Especially enjoyed sitting on the courtyard deck under the oak tree enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The house gets great natural light and has a nice layout for family to spend time together in the common spaces. Communication with our hosts was top-notch, especially appreciated the helpful tips and recommendations—a birthday cake for my dad from their recommended local bakery was a big hit!

In the heart of Carmel

House is spacious and airy with a lovely garden and distant ocean views from the living room. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. Host was very responsive to our inquiries.

Quiet and serene stay

The house is perfect for a family of 5. We enjoyed the bed and my wife loved the nice soaker tub. After a long day of activities with the family this was a great property to relax, enjoy, and unwind on. We ended every night with a glass of wine outside on the beautiful deck. The kids enjoyed their rooms and the living room space.

Lovely Carmel Woods retreat

Property is well situated on the winding, hilly and wooded area of north Carmel. Close to everything. House and yard in need of some updating - bathrooms are nicely remodeled, and kitchen is modern and well equipped. House is nicely laid out and private. Good, safe yard for dogs.

Thanks for your review, Stephen. Just a quick note - we have recently refreshed the house's interior paint (what a difference it made) and the the lower part of the garden and you can look forward other external updates. Honestly though, we don't have plans to update the upper garden because we think the dogs we are open to hosting deserve lots of space to sniff and roam. Come see us again soon!

Loved this sweet house

We loved our visit and this very special house. House has tons of charm and special details. Comfortable beds and shared living areas, spacious, all the necessary amenities. Lots of gorgeous light. Beautiful deck and plants. Short drive to downtown, beach, etc. just loved it all. Host was so kind and provided many helpful details. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Gracious Home; Welcoming Hosts

The house is spacious and comfortably furnished. A great place for friends and family to relax and gather while enjoying Carmel and Pebble Beach. Easy access by car to Big Sur and Central Coast; also Carmel Valley. Holly provided great information ahead of our arrival on places to go and sights to see; did everything possible to make us quickly at home. The fenced yard was great for our dog, plus the neighborhood roads are peaceful in the woods and great for dog walks on leash. We hope we are fortunate enough to return soon.

Quiet Among the Stars at this Carmel Charmer

The minute my wife and I stepped into your home we both felt at ease with the subtle decor, the views from the vast number of windows and French door, along with the abundant greenery outdoors waiting to be absorbed. Other than a few minor issues, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your graciousness and accommodation.

Lovely home base for Carmel exploration

Really enjoyed using this lovely house as a home base for 3 days of exploring Carmel and environs. The house is warm and obviously lived in and loved. Lots of character, but also very comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of room for up to six people and a well stocked kitchen including coffee and wine! Beautiful neighborhood and outdoor space with lots of trees and the distant roar of waves on the beach. Close to all the action in Carmel and Monterey. Highly recommend this house and will plan to stay here again on our next visit.
