This is a clean cozy house nestled in the mountains by the creek. Quiet location. The house was clean and filled thoughtfully with everything you would ever need for a stress free stay. The hosts know hospitality and do really care for the comfort of the guests.

Great trip. Everything in the house was so clean and organized. The host had everything you would need. So comfortable and peaceful. Great place for dogs too. I would definitely return and recommend.

Amazing property and hosts. The home was amazing my grandmother aunt and uncle loved staying here during their visit gave them their own space from ours and this was their first time renting a house for a week it got them hooked and they are already talking about their next visit down.

Memories

Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful property. The sights, the sounds and the smell all brought back wonderful childhood memories and hopefully made some for my son as well; being that I grew up playing in that creek.

Perfect mountain retreat

From the very start the owners were very accommodating. The home had many more amenities then we expected it gave us a lot of extra free time and endless activities to our surprise already supplied by the owners. I highly recommend book this home or any home they have listed the exceeded all expectations. Thank you from our family to yours. We will be booking again with you soon

Pictures don't do it justice!

This property is amazing! The creek is closer than it looks in the photos, access is easy, and the landscape is gorgeous! Peaceful, and spacious with lots of birds to keep us company. The firepit is perfectly placed for watching the moon rise and the stars shine. The house is small but clean, and the finished basement provides ample space for spreading out. Thank you for an amazing, easy and soul-filling time!

Relaxation

My husband and I a long with our 2 dogs had an extremely relaxing stay at the Comfy Creekside house. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked and organized as well as clean. Our dogs also wanted for nothing: extra bowls, bedding, and supplies. The fenced yard was great for them, and they also enjoyed wading in the Creek. Dayna even checked in on us, to make sure the dogs were happy in the yard. For me, most of my time was spent relaxing on the deck or the swing, reading and listening to the Craig Creek and all of the birds. At night, the Spring Peepers made music too. We ventured to Roaring Run Falls...short easy hike for us and our dogs. It was a super relaxing getaway.

We choose the Comfy Creekside Getaway for it's location to the James River. And the home did not disappoint. It very clean and organized. The hosts have put a lot of effort into making sure you have everything you will need. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit and the spacious yard. Our teen appreciated the PS4 during a rainy day. We floated the James from Gala to Eagle Rock, both ramps just a few minutes from the house. We also floated the creek, from the house to Eagle Rock, however there were multiple trees down in the creek and we had to carry our boats up the bank and around the trees. Still enjoyed it, just wasn't as easy to navigate. Kids enjoyed catching crayfish and little fish in the creek, and can't wait to come back!
