This was an excellent stay! Beautiful view and she let our boys help feed her horses one evening. We were very happy with our stay.

Clean, cozy, and beautifully renovated all the way throughout. Host truly took the time to not only make the place feel like home but also added alot of little touches that make staying away from your real home easier. Stocked coffe bar and a beautiful view of the oversized kitchen window while you make it, easy access plug ins for chargers in bed rooms with comfy beds, fire wood, games, and more. Side note : close enough to town that wlamart groceries can be delivered!

This place was a perfect spot for our family. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. Suzanne was super kind and responsive and even took my boys to go feed the horses she has. Definitely would stay here again!!

The house is very clean and charming, decorated beautifully! The view out the back of the house is breathtaking…lovely pastures, farm land, and the stunning Appalachian mountains. The host was easy to contact and promptly responded to any communications. Loved it and would definitely recommend and would stay again!

When you pull up, the outside looks old and beat up. But, once you step inside and see the attention to detail and the small, thoughtful accents on an interior that has been completely remodeled....all I can say is.....well done! Completely blew me away once we stepped inside. And the views from the kitchen and back of the house were awesome also! Highly recommend!!

Million dollar view! Hostess, Suzanne, was extremely gracious, helpful and friendly without being intruding. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, and everything worked well. Best part was the view and the hostess. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

A happy time was had, if gave us the perfect base for visiting our family in Fincastle. Tha cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything you need to be a home away from home.

Weekend Retreat

The house was very impressive. It has been totally renovated with new floors, kitchen and bathrooms. A very pleasant stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the area.

Wonderful home!

The home was absolutely wonderful. The spaces were clean and beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the views were outstanding. We’ll absolutely stay again next time we’re in Virginia.

Country delight

What a lovely and well done house. It has all of the luxuries of home, peace and quiet, and beautiful views. The host is great and very helpful. We loved our stay.

Great Girls weekend

This was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The location is close to activities in Roanoke but in a wonderful country setting. The cottage is very comfortable. They had everything we could need!

Out of town get-away

The house has been nicely updated and is as pictured. Host was very helpful. We enjoyed the history of the area. The view out back toward the mountains is beautiful!
