Charming 3 Bedroom/2 Bath well appointed vacation home located at 2208 East Beach Drive. You will absolutely love heading over to the beach where you will feel like the beach is all yours. We take pride in our well maintained home away from home. New living room furniture March 2024 and remodeled hallway bathroom Jan 2024. You will always arrive to a comfortable, well cleaned home. Our weekly rental prices include general cleaning charges but linens and towels are NOT included. The kitchen is stocked with all of your favorite pots, pans, dishes and utensils just like home.

Oak Island is a beautiful paradise. You will find Oak Island to be a quiet, family oriented beach community located between Wilmington, NC and N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

Ambiguity

Ambiguous communication about bed linens led to many and various efforts to secure towels and sheets. In addition, clarity of the entrances and pre-testing of codes would lead to easier entry. Nevertheless, our family found it comfortable, clean, and well supplied. However I would include bed linens for the price, which I’m sure is much higher “in season”. Thank you.

Lovely Getaway ❤️

We stayed here for a short beach getaway and it was absolutely amazing! The house was very clean and loved the set up of it! There’s a very short walk to the beach access point too which was very convenient. We would love to stay here again whenever we come back out this way ❤️ The only complaint we have is that the trip was not long enough!

2024 Beach Bucket Vacation

Daughter’s Birthday Weekend

We had a great three day get away for my daughter’s birthday. Location to area restaurants and shops was perfect. The location to beach access was 30 feet from our driveway. The house was very well cleaned and had plenty of kitchen items that you don’t want to drag on your trip. I found the kitchen to be well stocked for cooking(pots, pans, untensils) The beds were very comfortable and area furniture new and clean. The area near the house was quiet and they had plenty of parking. The weather wasn’t the most cooperative but we hit the beach a few times to walk and made the best of our time there. Went to Southport, the lighthouse, and ate at Island Way and Kokocabana, different from each other but would recommend both. Hope to come again and stay at the Beach Bucket.

Beach Get-Away

We had an amazing stay! The house was very clean, and it was in an amazing location. Just a 30 second walk to the beach access! Great Price as well, and when we had questions the owners were quick to respond! Will definitely be back, and we highly recommend it.

Great place for a family vacation!

The house was exactly what they advertised. Great place that is an easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. Owners are easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this place.

Another awesome stay at the Beach Bucket!

We have stayed multiple times at the Beach Bucket and enjoy vacation every time. The house is equipped with everything you need. The location is fantastic with views of the ocean from the front porch. Love drinking my morning coffee listening to the sound of the waves. We will be back again! Hosts are every responsible to messages, kind and gracious.

Great Time!!

The home was very clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and had lots of fun. The walk to the beach was just a few houses down which was very convenient. Great spot and wonderful place to relax and enjoy family. The neighbor next door was a wealth of knowledge and very kind and fun to talk too! Thank you Allen and Freda for letting us use your home.

Perfect Stay!

Beach Bucket was perfect for our beach getaway. Communication with the owners was great! The location can't be beat. The house was very well stocked with any kitchen item you would need! We will definitely stay again!

Absolutely perfect!

Allen and Frieda's home is absolutely perfect in every way. Three days down from beach access, with a bit of a view of the ocean. The house itself was very clean, and met all our needs. We had a couple of questions which were answered right away. Hope to be back!

We loved the property; we liked the closeness to the beach and especially that it was dog friendly. Owners were very quick to respond to our questions, we appreciated that. Will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends. I felt like I was staying at someone's home, from the kitchen with all the cooking items you could need to the board games and books! The best VRBO We have stayed at by far.
