Great Place for a family reunion
We had a large group come and stay at this property for a family reunion over the spring break. The house is at the top of a mountain in the finger lakes areas. The views are great on a clear day. We stayed in April and the roads were clear, but if it is winter time it would be hard to summit the hills to get to the house. The road from Canandaigua on the east side of the lake is not bad, but the roads from Naples or Italy could be problematic if icy. The house is large and looks to be built as a Bed and Breakfast for different families to have their own space and some common areas. It was a great place that people could retire to if they needed a moment to get away. Each bedroom has a bathroom and except for one had a shower/bath. We spent a lot of time in the house and made a lot of meals. Although the second kitchen is awkwardly skinny, it was very nice to have access to a second stove/oven when making large meals for our large group. The kitchens were well stocked with almost everything we needed. We never know what will be available but were impressed with that was there. There are enough plates for a banquet hall. Internet was fast and reliable. The hot tub worked well, but the weather didnt cooperate so we didnt enjoy it as much as we would have wanted to. The Game room was a great place to put the kids to play. We didnt have any issues during our stay and the host communicated quickly when we had questions.
