The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. The view was indescribable from the front porch. The Ride up and the Ride down was a bit shaky because it was very steep, however once we arrived at the cabin, it was well worth the trip up. Many conveniences were already inside the cabin. The owners thought of everything we might need. We absolutely loved our time at Three Dog Night cabin.

First thing I said when entering the property was “wow it’s so clean!”A very critical thing for me clearly. Amazing stay, had everything we needed, coffee filters, plenty of towels, even some chocolates, crackers and marshmallows roasting sticks for s’mores (brought our own marshmallows). The view was accurate to the pictures. Hot tub was a bit to chlorinated (but rather that then gross water) and could not get hot enough to be nice and toasty in the winter, but for summer it was fine.

Top of the mountain

Beautiful views from the porch. Like living in the trees with the birds singing. Got to see the full moon rise over the mountain from the hot tub. Wonderful place and the drive up the mountain was cool if your down for the adventure.

The kind of cabin you don’t want to leave

Truly one of the best cabins we’ve been to, especially being pet friendly! Everything from booking with the host to the cabin itself was fantastic. The drive up to the cabin will satisfy your need for adventure. Everything was clean and new, and the decor was cozy. We spent hours on the porch watching gorgeous sunrises, fog roll through the mountains, and even a thunderstorm which was awesome. You can also enjoy the view from the hot tub and the fire pit. We brought our two dogs and they loved the peace and quiet almost as much as we did. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a cabin that truly feels like a much needed getaway.

Cute place

Cute cabin, kitchen stocked with cooking supplies. Furniture new and bed comfortable. Only downside was construction right next door 630a to 6pm. Awoke daily to chainsaws, heavy equipment and cement truck, was very noisy and not relaxing. Hot tub has zero privacy from next cabin and construction workers could see and hear us as we could them.The stocked fire wood was a nice touch!

Perfect Anniversary & Work Retreat with Stunning Mountain Views

My partner and I recently stayed at the Three Dog Night Cabin for a three-night getaway, celebrating our anniversary and using it as a retreat for some work (we're both personal and professional partners). This cabin was exactly what we needed—a perfect blend of relaxation and inspiration. The mountains provided a stunning backdrop that fueled our creativity, and the hot tub with mountain views was simply fantastic after long days. We were pleasantly surprised to find ingredients for s'mores waiting for us, making our evenings by the fire pit even more special. The cabin itself is cozy and well-equipped, with a modern yet rustic charm that made us feel right at home. We loved the sense of seclusion and privacy, and we recommend all-wheel drive for the best access. If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape, this hidden gem is it!

We had the most perfect stay at the Three Dog Night Cabin. We stopped by the Ingles for groceries before we headed up the hill to the cabin and didn't venture out again until checkout. GPS can struggle to recognize your exact location, so if you follow the directions provided by the host, you will arrive there with no issue. I drive a manual Honda Civic and had no issue navigating the roads. Everything, including the driveway is now paved, just take your time as the road is narrow and drivers may approach from the other direction. The kitchen was well appointed and we had everything we needed to cook/prepare every meal. We even got great use out of the grill! The hottub was so relaxing and clean. The firepit area is excellent and eventhough we were unable to make a fire this trip, the view was gorgeous and the chairs were so comfortable. We spent plenty of time on the porch enjoying nature and the view! Our stay was peaceful, private, and so relaxing. We have only been home a few hours and we are already thinking about our next stay!
