The two king suites were perfect for our two couple party. The house was clean and location was perfect to Bryson City as well as the parkway. The fact that we could take our pup was the best!

Nice stay

We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed the quiet and rocking chairs on the back porch.

The cabin was beautiful and the views of the mountains were awesome.

It was very peaceful and secluded but not that far from Bryson City.

Relaxing Cabin Stay

We had a wonderful relaxing stay here. The view and the hot tub were great. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking for a place that feels very private, but is still only about 20 minutes from Cherokee.

Perfect Basecamp

Paddler's Retreat served as a great base for all our activities for the week. The location is close and quiet. Close to NOC and Tsali and really quiet compared to other places we have stayed in the Nantahala gorge. Rental company is top notch.

loved Bryson City

This was our first trip to Bryson City. We really enjoyed the area...the cabin was wonderful for 2 couples & we loved the secluded location. We enjoyed the train ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad & the town. We had great coffee at Mountain Perks & dinner at Anthony's.

Third weekend at this lovely cabin

We keep returning to this fabulous cabin because of the comfort and convenience of two king master suites, the proximity to the NOC, the great view and the excellent customer service NC Mountains Realty provides. We're looking forward to a return visit when we can.

Cabin Life

The cabin and property we're both wonderful with a fantastic view! My only complaint is the nature trail was blocked by a fallen tree.

Mountain paradise

Spent four wonderful nights here with family. The cabin was perfection! We've stayed together at many VRBOs and this one exceeded all of our expectations. From the location, to the views, the comfort touches and supplies. Even tasteful Christmas touches. We'll definitely remember this one.

Wonderful Week

Perfect for 5 Ohio ladies mining in NC for a week! Roomy, comfortable beds, and so clean. Will likely be back next year if we have all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles to conquer the driveway.

Hello Donna and Thank You for your Lovely complimentary review! No one has ever had any issues with the driveway.....until the recent "Upgrade". There was definitely too much gravel laid. That has been corrected and we are back to normal. I JUST ADDED A PHOTO OF THE DRIVEWAY/ENTRY to the photo gallery. Excellent Get-Away

We had to be out of our house due to some construction work, so we packed up all of us (2 adults, 2 children, 1 dog, 1 cat) and headed to the Paddler's Retreat. It was the perfect place for us to hang for a couple days. The hot tub was relaxing, the house immaculate, the yard perfect for our dog. We loved everything about it and would definitely recommend it :)

Bryson City Mountain Trip

Excellent property for 2 couples. Very quaint, warm and inviting. Two king bedrooms each with its own bathroom was very nice. The outside porch had a great mountain view with rocking chairs and gas fire pit. This was a great cabin to come back to after the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad trip. Cabin was very clean with all the necessities. Would definitely rent again.

Nice cabin and amenities.

The comfort of the cabin was great. The driveway was awful especially after using it several times a day over the week. Also, the windows and blinds were quite dirty yet the cabin was clean and well maintained.

Thankful Thanksgiving Getaway

Perfect set up for our holiday with family, 2 couples, each having our own bathroom. King beds very comfortable. Open floor plan of kitchen, dining room, living room was great and we especially enjoyed the gas fireplace from the extra large couch. Kitchen had every convenience necessary for making all meals. Very convenient to Great Smokey Mtn. National Park and area rivers for excellent trout fishing. The hot tub and long covered porch were very nice and with a very pretty view. We would definitely stay here again.

Drive up

The place was great except for a couple of things. The road up to needs to be paved or at least graded better. You should get ROKU for all the televisions.
