This was the most welcoming place we have ever rented! We will definitely be booking again and the fact we were able to bring our large dog made it perfect for us.

Charming and lovely cottage that was convenient to Appalachian Trail hikes and the Homeplace restaurant, the two objectives of our weekend visit. The two bedroom cottage worked well for our family of four with our large dog, plenty of space inside and great backyard to woods for kids and dog to explore. Host Jessie was so helpful and communicative with planning our stay. Was a little surprised how close to road the house was, and could hear road noise of passing cars but we quickly got used to it. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future visits to area.

Great location close to trails and town

It was a great base camp for some mountain biking and hiking in the area. Loved the coffee bar.

Great location very close proximity to the Triple Crown hikes. Loved the fire pit and the axe throwing was a cool unique addition. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were pretty comfortable. Was a nice home away from home.

We loved our stay at the cottage! The layout, the two living areas and the well appointed kitchen made our 4 night stay very comfortable... the tea and coffee bar and the towel warmer!! All the beds were super comfortable too. We especially enjoyed the back of the property with the "swing house", axe throwing, and big fire pit!We would definitely love to stay again!

A wonderful stay in a very beautiful cottage!

Host went out of their way to make our stay over Christmas as special as possible even going so far is to putting in a decorated Christmas tree:-) the beds were comfortable and all of the amenities were new and functioned perfectly. We had an absolutely wonderful stay!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the cottage. The host went above and beyond to make it very enjoyable. Beautiful house, fun yard for the kids and fantastic overall stay. Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay for the weekend. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the little touches and extra amenities like ear plugs by all the beds and the stocked up coffee bar. If we are ever in town for another show in nearby Roanoke again, we would love to return for another stay!

Nice place for pets and easy access to the area. Road noise might be bothersome to some. Hosts were very responsive and nice when we lost electric and water.

Stayed here for my husband's recovery after knee replacement. One floor living was perfectly suited. Adorable cottage with thoughtful, homey touches and a kind host. Our two pups loved the fenced backyard. Highly recommended.

Great property. Very nicely set up inside, very roomy. It was just my sister and me, but brought the grandkids over for about an hour before dinner. They went crazy. Absolutely loved it, so many games, the backyard and the porch swing were big hits. Would absolutely stay there again. Host is very nice and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful grounds, convenient to hiking, trails and the Catawba Sustainability Center. Quick, clear and kind communication with the owner. Will start again and highly recommend!

Cozy and comfortable!

Jessie provided great communication and was very accommodating. This house was cozy, CLEAN, and in a great location to Roanoke, Salem, and even Rocky Mount. Such an enjoyable stay!

Well appointed beautiful respite

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful little cottage. Even though we were only traveling with adults we loved the features for children and dogs. It is a beautiful property with gorgeous views from the back deck especially with morning coffee from the stocked coffee bar.

We had such a great time! The dogs loved the backyard and area. The only “con” we had was we didn’t have much toilet paper available so we ended up running out. But otherwise, great stay and a cute home!
