Experience New Castle like a local in this 2-bedroom cabin and built for relaxation. Open floorplan layout with deck surrounding the custom log cabin that overlooks Craigs Creek. Walk down the ramp to the creek or grill at the deck. A flagstone patio is built right at the edge of the slope for the peaceful creek sounds. Lots of privacy and very modern design! Cell phone coverage for most providers and high speed internet available!

We had a wonderful stay! We absolutely loved the back porch and access to the creek. Everything is clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was perfect with everything we needed. The creek was an added bonus that we spent most of our time in! Owner went out of his way to accommodate us as well. Will be returning for sure!

Great cabin with wonderful views

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice peaceful getaway. The kayaks and fire pit were wonderful amenities that we enjoyed as well!

Fabulous clean organized family friendly with great view of the creekside. Had to cut my weekend short due to family emergency but i will definitely be going back. So cozy and rustic yet updated and relaxing.

Family visit

Quiet, beautiful cabin on Craig Creek. Great place for family . Kayaking and fishing right at your back door. Fire pit for making s’mores or chilling out in the cooler months. Close to New Castle. Cell service was spotty.

Cabin retreat

Loved the location and views from this cabin. Convenient to hiking (Triple Crown). Very comfortable and clean and responsive host. Will hopefully stay here again in the future.

Heaven stay

This property is a dream stay if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. There are so many different chill spots around the place, and the creek running through it adds a really charming touch. The owner is super nice and very available if you need anything. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great getaway

Great cabin to unwind by a secluded creek. The cabin is thoughtfully furnished with rustic feel with modern amenities. Town is conveniently located a short drive away. Bonus points for decent internet as Verizon phone service non existent until you get to town of new castle

We enjoyed our visit to the cabin on Craigs Creek. The cabin’s location was ideal, with plenty of hiking trails and scenic spots just a short drive away. Beautiful cabin!

The property is gorgeous and the cabin is too! Exactly what we needed, we would love to return and enjoy the peace. The host was very accommodating with our 2am arrival as well. Close to Roanoke and lots of hiking in the area. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!

My son and I took a long weekend trip to the cabin and had a great time! Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin, sitting outside listening to the water and the sense of calm and relaxation being there. Sonny was super responsive if we needed anything or had any questions, but also gave us our space. The cabin was perfect and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing trip!

my wife and I visited for the weekend and loved everything about it. The cabin was perfect for us allowing us privacy and the amazing mountain atmosphere we love. The fire pit overlooking the creek was amazing and the inside of the cabin was absolutely breathtaking. The owners were very responsive and even helped us when we accidentally locked ourselves out around 10 on a Saturday. Would definitely recommend to others and if we ever travel back to the area we will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely fantastic rental!!

I highly recommend this location for your stay. Quiet beautiful cabin on a river with all the comforts of home. We booked on very short notice. Sonny was extremely accommodating and a perfect host! He was available (if needed) while also giving you your privacy. The cabin has everything you need and more. There is a very comfortable king size bed in the main room and an equally comfy queen in the loft. All of the appliances are updated and the bathroom shower is very roomy. There are board games, kayaks, a fishing pole, TV, WiFi, corn hole and more! They even provided firewood and kindling for the fire pit!Being a woodworker myself, I appreciated all of the gorgeous craftsmanship and thoughtfulness that went into the cabin. If all of this sounds like what you would enjoy, don’t look any further. Book now! We live 6 hours away but would stay here again if we came out this way in a heartbeat!Thank you Sonny, for caring so much about your renter’s stay!

An Amazing Mountian Oasis

A wonderfully spacious but cozy cabin! An amazing outdoor area with an amazing view! We could not have chosen a better place to stay! Close and easy access to Roanoke and Salem, hiking trails, etc! Would definitely come back and stay again!
