The cabin was very well appointed, clean and comfortable, located in a beautiful setting. The host provided so many little nice touches, communication was clear and timely. Just a wonderfully, comfortable, stay for our hiking adventure!

Cozy, clean cottage, with many thoughtful amenities. Location was close to wedding venues and an easy drive to Salem and Roanoke. Host was very responsive.

Perfect vacation rental property - spotlessly clean, comfortable beds,well equipped with lots of extra special touches. Host was welcoming and responsive .Our family enjoyed a week in this mountain cabin just 5 miles away from AT trailheads to McAfee knob and Dragons tooth.

The cabin was exactly as promised! Very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds and the host left a basket of treats! We hope to visit again as we all liked it!

Great location for hiking. The property is a must stay, it’s luxurious and spotless. Taylor messaged to make sure everything was okay and the welcome pack was thoughtful and generous.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The accommodations were exactly as described – clean, comfortable, well maintained, close to great hiking trails and equipped with everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing visit. The host was exceptional, friendly, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. Communication was easy and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay and would gladly return in the future. Thank you for a fantastic experience.!

The home was beautiful. Everything we could have needed was provided, including a basket of snacks to carry on the trails. The home was comfortable, clean, and located close to hiking trails.

Stayed here with family while traveling and we were all very pleased. We value cleanliness in our rentals and this place didn’t disappoint. The home was clean and stocked with many essentials. The host was friendly and quick with responses. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area or just passing through!

Great week away

This cabin is very clean and well maintained. It had everything we could possibly need from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the bathrooms! It really was idyllic and my children enjoyed their time too! I already miss my coffee on the porch in the morning!

Very cute cabin with plenty of space. Off a gravel road. Really close to AT, McAfee Knob, Dragons Tooth, and not far from Salem for food and stuff. We stayed in late October, and it was chilly out, but the cabin was warm and cozy. Great view of the stars.

A perfect getaway to celebrate the holidays! We visited Eagles Rest with my one month shy of 90 year-old mother, and two adult kids. We appreciated the welcoming amenities and meticulously clean and cozy atmosphere! Having two bedrooms on the primary floor was helpful for older guests, and the loft suite was beautifully private! We also enjoyed the location close to Roanoke, and the trailheads connecting to the Appalachian Trail were just minutes drive away! We had a wonderful stay, and it was a perfect five star, pet-friendly, getaway!

Taylor was very responsive to all my inquiries.The house was perfect! Snacks water, tea and coffee was purely icing on the cake. Beds were comfy and warm! Doggies bags and dedicated waste container on the porch was great!The hosts thought of every amenity.Thank you!

If you are looking to get away from the hustle an bustle of daily life head to Eagle's Rest. It's a charming cabin tucked into the mountains and woods between Roanoke/ Salem and New Castle. It is fairly remote and super quiet. I went with a few friends for our annual girls trip. The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable and chock-full of amenities. The owners have thought of everything you might need. There is a great deck and fireplace to spend the evenings sipping a glass of wine and listening to the Whippoorwills. Did I mention it was quiet?! We made day trips to Roanoke, Salem, Blacksburg, Christiansburg and New Castle all within a half hour drive. We would definitely go back!!

We had an 18 y/o tiny daushund with us. He went everywhere with us. Our friend carried him in a little sling. His name is Mozart. Everything was great at the house. Lovely home with lots of deck to hang out on. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. Questions to our host were answered very quickly and completely.

Perfect blend of rustic cabin with modern conveniences and finishes and perfectly appointed kitchen, utensils, kitchenware, Keurig & standard coffee maker, etc. Every detail of this property was thoughtfully done by owner including quality matresses, bedding, linens, outdoor gas fire pit with great seating, & deck furniture amenities. This beautiful home has every convenience plus extra surprises of bottle of wine, toothbrush kits, razors, snacks, candy, K-cups, tea bags, trash bags and perfectly appointed kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back again soon. Definitely highly recommend this amazing property.
