The location really is such a gem, and I love that you got to walk to Congdon’s (those doughnuts are dangerous!) and enjoy food truck night and Mike’s Clam Shack. We responded as soon as we received your message. When you first reached out, you asked for a full refund because you had already found another place to stay, without providing further details. We asked for more information, and that's when you mentioned the humidity — on one of the hottest days we had all summer. We advised turning on the AC in the bedroom, since the living room unit was already running..it is a small unit and takes roughly 1h ( at most) for the entire place to feel chilly. We understand you preferred to stay elsewhere, but we're not able to offer a full refund unless the property is rebooked — particularly given the unsubstantiated claims made in an effort to secure one. We appreciate you reaching out.
