Beautiful place off the beaten path that provides a peaceful retreat. Place is clean and well equipped, could use some updated outdoor furniture to enjoy the very scenic backyard. The pond was great for swimming and relaxing floating. Hosts were very friendly and responsive, glad we found this place!

Family bonding trip

The house is amazing. Property is fantastic. Fishing will be fantastic in a few more years as the fish get older, great variety of fishing. Had a great time.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family loved this house and all the thoughtful details throughout it. The kids had a blast swimming and kayaking in the pond. The local town has great restaurants and the house has everything you could possibly need to cook at home too! We can’t wait to come back!

Loved so much, we can back!

We stayed here last summer and our kids have been begging to come back since. It is truly one of the best vacations we’ve been on, and this year was no different! The home is kept so well! Clean, private, and full of tiny thoughtful amenities. Can’t wait to come back next summer!

Lovely cabin with pond

Our stay at Cedar Cove cabin was wonderful. It’s very stylish and well equipped. The pond is great to swim in and the screened porch upstairs was fantastic to sit at when the bugs come out at night. Check in and check out was super easy with a code. We would stay here again!

The property was perfect. We were surprised there was nowhere to put our clothes. Also, we assumed there would be some paper products. Everything was wonderful. Due to the humidity, we had difficulty locking the front door but your sister came right over and assisted us. We would definitely stay again.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and truly appreciate the 5-star review! 🌟 We always provide paper towels and toilet paper for our guests, and in the welcome packet we note that if you happen to run out during your stay, there’s a Dollar General nearby for quick convenience. We provide standard-size coffee filters for the machine in the home, and while we don’t stock Kleenex, many guests find the paper products available meet their needs. We’ll certainly keep your suggestions in mind as we always continue to make improvements!!! Thanks again for choosing our place, we’d be delighted to host you anytime! You were great guests!

Beautiful Retreat

Well-appointed, beautifully decorated home-it was great for our family get-together. Bright, spacious space. Just step out on the screened porch to see deer across the pond, listen to birds or bullfrogs. We also enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered porch downstairs while our child played on the sandy beach in front. The foosball table downstairs was a family fave as was the catch and release fishing in the lake. Great communication with responsive host.Pro tip: grab groceries at Sullivans before you arrive. Nice selection. Close to shops, restaurants and trails. Don't miss the tour of the Grant historic home and the shops of Galena. Beautiful area. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful, peaceful cabin! The exceptional setting in nature made it feel like our own private oasis. We loved that it was dog-friendly, and the host was fantastic to work with—responsive, welcoming, and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit!
