Consider this house your home away from home while you visit Grand Rapids. This quaint and tranquil property offers a fabulous escape for guests. With access 2 bedrooms, including 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, you'll have a comfortable and peaceful sleep. The 3rd bedroom is the homeowners master bedroom reserved for home supplies. The bathroom is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a bidet for added luxury. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, a washer/dryer, and HV/AC during your stay. The home has ring cameras outside at the front and side doors, and backyard all for security purposes only. Units A & B have their own entry with coded keypad for security. Unit A is a private, self-contained unit with its own keypad entry. Unit B also has its own private coded keypad entry at the lower level (Guests have their own privacy in their perspective unit). Whether you're exploring the city or simply relaxing in this fabulous retreat, you'll feel right at home. This place was fantastic, super cute space with plenty of room. Fully stocked with board games, dishware, paper towels, the whole nine. Super clean, great location, and I look forward to staying here again!! Highly recommend

This home was exactly what we needed as we came from New York to visit family and friends around West Michigan. The house itself is a lovely mid-century modern home that could use some upgrades but everything was clean and well-kept. The kitchen was well stocked and host was easy to communicate with. We would go back!

Charming, lovely accommodations. Plenty of room and comfort. The home is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Excellent communication with the host. The decor was a bonus for our stay - fun 60’s vibe. Loved our stay!

Grand Rapids House

My family and I had a great stay at Shawn's house for out trip to GR! The close proximity to Riverside Park was great for morning walks. The house was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the unique 1960's style of the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Grand Rapids Creston Area

Nice area north of the city. Beautiful park within walking distance from house. Communication was great with owner and Shawn was always responsive. Beds were comfortable and bath towels were better than most resorts. Would definitely stay here again. Things that could be improved. The main bedroom didn’t have blackout drapes. There was a Kuerig coffee maker but no pods to make coffee. The remote controls either didn’t work or couldn’t be found. Other than those few annoying things it was a nice place to stay.

Good House with a lot of Potential

I went back and forth on giving our stay 3, 4,or 5 stars. I’m giving 5 stars because I believe this is a new thing to the owners of the property and they were very pleasant so I don’t want to discourage future visitors. There was just a couple things to note and hopefully change: 1. There’s supposedly a person who rents out and lives in the basement. Nowhere in the advertisement did it say that. I didn’t know we wouldn’t have the house totally to ourselves until I got the check in message from the owner and they disclosed the basement resident. We never saw or heard the resident is the good news. But I’d recommend disclosing that in the add as it was pretty annoying to find out last minute. 2. The master bedroom is weirdly locked and inaccessible. I’m guessing they didn’t want people sleeping in their bed or something but considering there was someone else living in the house it felt eerie that we couldn’t access or see into the room - at least put a note that the room is a personal room and nobody’s in there or something similar would help. 3. The AC was struggling. It was 77 degrees in the house the first day and night, while it was low 70s outside. Most people would open the windows and shut off the a/c at that point. But you can’t, because there are no screens on the windows or slider doors so you just end up with flys inside. The last night the a/c did manage to get the house to around 73. The good things - the house was clean and well supplied, and we had no issues.

The beds were very comfortable but the property was not in good condition. No where to relax outside and the covered built in pool was very unappealing when you opened the shades. Host addressed television issue within 24 hours.

This was a lovely place to stay! Right next to a beautiful park with fun events but also quietly tucked away, and well stocked with bathroom necessities and kitchen must-haves! We enjoyed our stay and would come again!!

Great little neighborhood within waling distance to a lovely park. The home was as described, a bit of a throw back in style which was cool. Parking was on the street, but it's a quiet neighborhood and wasn't an issue. Shawn was excellent with communication.

Heading to this home in Grand Rapids was great. Just about everything we needed to do was n in a 10 to 15 minute drive. Shawn was easy to get ahold of if needed and gave us several recommendations. My family and I would definitely visit again and stay again with this host.
