This adorable cottage is tucked within a quiet neighborhood near Lake Tomahawk, the Black Mountain Golf Course, and the restaurants and shops in the beloved town of Black Mountain. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the outside patio alongside the trees, getting cozy by the fire pit during those cool evenings, or spending a night in watching the Smart TV with streaming by the electric fireplace in the living room, you will feel completely at ease in this inviting mountain nook.

This home is in a premier location, situated near many hiking trails and other spots to take in the gorgeous views of the mountains and the nearby lake. Not to mention, you're only 20 short minutes away from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate! With this home, you'll be just outside the hustle and bustle of the city while still benefiting from all the city has to offer.

Note: New home construction is underway next door, and construction noise may be heard during daytime working hours. Personal logins are required to use streaming services on the Smart TVs.

We appreciate all that Graybeard did to make our stay pleasant. This was a very cute cottage in an excellent location, very close to town and Lake Tomahawk.

Great location. This is a very small home but is cozy. The main issue is that the floors are very slanted. We had stayed here before and forgot that issue. Not a big deal as we really aren’t there to spend time inside.

Our recent stay at Whispering Pines exceeded all expectations! Nestled conveniently close to the heart of Black Mountain, N.C., this charming cottage provided the perfect blend of comfort and accessibility. The kitchen was impeccably stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare a delicious meal. The bed was comfortable, with pristine sheets and a cozy comforter that ensured a restful night's sleep. Our thoughtful hosts went above and beyond to enhance our stay, providing an array of bathroom, laundry, and kitchen products. They even surprised us with a delectable bag of Poppy's Hand-Crafted Popcorn, adding a delightful touch to our arrival. Throughout our stay, our hosts maintained excellent communication, checking in to ensure the cottage was clean upon arrival and even sending a helpful check-out reminder the evening before our departure. Their attentive approach made us feel valued and cared for throughout our time there. For anyone seeking a clean and inviting cottage experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Whispering Pines. It's the perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and enjoy all that Black Mountain has to offer.
