Pleasant stay in this functional and well-equipped apartment. The bedding was comfortable Easy communication with the owners. 3 drawbacks: -the temperature control for the AC/heating is not accessible in the apartment. You must therefore ask the owner to adjust it as needed. It can become annoying if you want to adjust the setting several times a day... -there is no window in the bedroom-the small garden between the fences of the front and the backyard would benefit from being used to put 1 summer lounge (table, chairs) and a barbecue to enjoy the outdoor

great apartment and neighborhood!

I booked this vrbo so my brother and I could visit my parents and be right around the corner. It was a great apartment (2-3 people is optimal for the stay) the neighborhood was lovely and we had a great visit. The owner was great about giving instructions! Thank you, we will be back!!

There were some real pros and cons. The good things were the area was really nice and quiet, the kitchen was nice and the place was spacious. It was even stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, some spices, kitchenware, etc. in the kitchen and soap in the bathroom. But the ad was pretty misleading. It’s not an apartment, it’s a basement turned into an efficiency. Not as private as I thought and you could hear the people walking around in the house upstairs. I wouldn’t say that it sleeps 3 people, there’s only one bed and an extremely uncomfortable couch. It was also FREEZING in there and no thermostat to adjust the temp to our preference. Also none of the doors closed or opened properly. We basically had to body slam our way into the house, bathroom door doesn’t close at all and you have to struggle with the bedroom door as well. It definitely could’ve been better.

The stay wasn’t absolutely perfect, but overall it was a very positive experience! We sent a message to the host before arriving to request the check in instructions, since they weren’t included in the reservation, and needed to request towels, but the host was incredibly responsive and gracious and gave us everything we needed quickly. Other reviews will say that the space was cold, which was similar for us, but since it’s one thermostat for the whole house and the rental space is a converted walk in basement, it’s understandable that it gets cold. The host was lovely to remind us that they could adjust the temperature when we were ready to bear through it with the blankets provided. The space was filled with coffee, tea, and generally everything you’d need to cook. Make sure you bring a bottle opener if you have wine (luckily we had twist off)! No lengthy cleanup requirements and the bed was incredibly comfortable…we’d definitely stay again if we come back to the area.
