Kona Makai 3-205 is a beautifully appointed 2nd floor condo with ocean views! This condo is fully equipped with everything you may need for your Vacation! Your own private Wifi network available for use as well! Air Conditioning is in the bedroom & living room for your comfort! Queen sized bed in the bedroom. The bathroom has been remodeled, complete with a wonderful walk in shower!
Building 3 is especially great because of the positioning of the 2nd private lanai. It's much cooler than any other building in the complex!

The Kona Makai is a beautiful, sunny, highly sought after Ocean Front Complex located on famous Alii Drive just 1.3 miles from Kailua Village. The Kona Makai features include lush tropical gardens, ocean front pool and spa, sunny lounge area, 2 work out rooms, eating area w/ gas BBQ’s, tennis courts, covered parking, free wireless internet, cable TV and is gated during the night for security.

My husband, daughter and myself had a wonderful stay at Kona Makai. The host made the pull out couch bed for my daughter before we arrived. The place was clean and fully stocked. We enjoy the sunset views from our lanai each night. We also loved being able to walk down to the ocean easily and swim in the pool. It’s a central location with lots of shops and amenities close by. We’d go back in a heart beat!

Wonderful Location and a Clean Condo

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The location was great and very accessible to all the places around. I hope to visit here soon again.Feedback - Would be helpful if you could have better utilities (Soap, Body Wash, and Shower), since people often do not carry those of their own to a vacation rental.

Loved it

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here for a little over a week. Staff was friendly accommodations were nice and well kept by the property such as hot tub, trash all that jazz. Having the ac was a must it go so hot without it so I would definitely recommend this place.

Condo was ok. The bed was small. Kitchen Cupboards need an up grade as most of the doors didnt fit. Cups needed to be replaced as were stained and small. The grounds were great. The pool area was not kid friendly as was the hot Tub. The gym was small and the equipment is in great need of replacement. The management company was awesome!!

The view of the ocean from the lanai is very beautiful!This unit had all the dishes, pans and appliances needed, and a good selection of towels and linens. It was perfectly clean and Knutson and Associates communicated clearly and kindly from the moment we booked our stay. They are very responsive.Highly recommend!

Golf outing

Place as described. Nice. WiFi didn’t work, spotty at best. Staircase painting for 1 day. Prohibited from coming and going. Monetarily appeased though. Otherwise very nice property.

Unit of a condo association, so there were rules for quiet time, much appreciated. Pool and hot tub were clean, as well as the property. Our unit was clean and comfortable, with beach amenities provided. Would’ve been better if it was located on a beach, but that’s kinda hard on Hawaii island. Had an issue with the internet which we went back and forth with for a day. But it got resolved with only a tiny fraction of our vacation interrupted
