Well stocked condo right on the beach. Being able to listen to the waves at night and watch the surf and sunsets during the day- priceless! Excellent location. 1 mile to town. Shirt uber ride back after mai tais and dinner

Great place in a fantastic location. Nice community pool and hot tub, and the ocean sounds in the windows and the views from the bedroom were awesome! Plenty of space and comfortable place.

Great condo. Clean, gorgeous view from the lanai. Stays cool due to the ocean breeze. We have stayed in many of the condos in Kona Makai, all have been very nice, but this one is by far our favorite.

Absolutely great stay at this condo! We really enjoyed the place for the time we were there. The best part was how close it was to the beach and also the view from the balcony out to the ocean, where we saw a couple very spectacular sunsets. My only complaint was the ceiling fan inside the bathroom, which the blades hit the door when turned on. I also nearly injured my hand badly putting on my t shirt and forgetting it was there and it was turned on, since no one in the mainland where were from has ever installed a ceiling fan inside the bathroom as far as I know. Anyways it was a great place to stay and we will be returning!

We have stayed at Kona Makai many trips to The Big Island. This was the first time in this condo. The unit is very well kept and the views from the lanai are spectacular. The grounds and the pool areas are beautiful.

Fantastic Location!

What a great time my husband and I had at this lovely and well-appointed condo at a beautiful ocean-front property. The grounds and spotlessly kept, and the sunset views from the lanai were outstanding. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit the Big Island!

Ocean side escape

There were many things to enjoy about staying here. Going to sleep and waking to the sound of the surf, eating meals on the lanai watching the ocean, enjoying the beautiful views, the warm island breeze - all of these combined to make this the perfect place for our week in Kona. Plus the location was perfect for exploring the west side of the Big Island.

Wonderful stay

We have stayed at Kona Makai many times over the years and all of the condos have been very nice. This one in particular is our favorite. The view from the lanai is gorgeous.

Lovely location!!

This property was as described and more. We loved being so close to the ocean and within walking distance to town. It was quiet and clean and the sunsets were beautiful!

Amazing view

This condo is beautiful, inside and out. There is a pool, hot tub, ping pong, workout room and ocean view. Has all the amenities of home.
