The condo was very clean and in very good shape. The furnishings were quite nice and comfortable. The 2 lanais were a nice touch. The owner was easy to reach and always responded quickly to any of my questions. It has a nice pool and great view of the ocean.

Was a great central location for exploring the island. Pool and hot tub were a nice way to wrap up the day. Loved the lanai…enjoyed our coffee and the birds every morning.

We had a great stay at Janet's home. Even though we were there during the hurricane, the location is on the Kona coast where it is very protected and we fared much better than the other side of the island. The condo was very clean and had all the items needed to cook (if you want). We enjoyed the large lanai and spent a lot of time sitting there enjoying the view. The grounds of the property are absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the waves crash on the black lava rock, and the beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It is about a 1 mile walk to Kona Town where there are a lot of restaurants and shopping. Walmart is about a 10 minute drive, and Costco about 15 minutes away. Would definitely stay again if on the Big Island again!

A few minor glitches, but generally very good. And a nice, convenient location. The owner was very responsive to requests and questions.

We always respond immediately as I monitor my phone alarms in order and respond immediately with maintainance or explanations in order for you to have a nice stay. We accommodated your last minute request for early checkin and let you know you had the key to the common areas. Wish you the best on your travels.

The condo was beautiful and nicely furnished. It was a very convenient location. The bathroom had obviously been renovated. We loved the rain shower head! We now want to install one at home. Communication with Janet was great. The complex was beautifully landscaped with lush plants and flowers. I highly recommend it for a couple.

Wonderful trip!

We had a great time staying at Kona Makai. It was a perfect complex for our multi family vacation! This condo was clean and had all the necessities we needed to dine in when we wanted to. Would definitely stay again!

I’m glad you had a good time. Kona Makai is quiet, has beautiful ocean sunset, whale and dolphin views. It’s convenient to town or kick back to enjoy the pool, spa and bbq on the ocean frontage. Come again.

Fantastic Place to Stay!

Never a bad day in Hawaii

The BBQ and pool area are amazing. Our best meal was a steak dinner watching the sunset. Beautiful gardens.

Family trip

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful location. It was right in the middle of all the fun activities we had planned. Everyone else in the complex were very friendly as well. Perfect place for a family vacation.

A great stay in Kona

We really enjoyed this unit in Kona Makai. It was very clean and had a good setup for a small family with all the kitchen stuff included. It is close to town and not too far from the best beaches. All the amenities were as advertised. We would gladly stay here again.

Kona condo

The condo was perfectly located for us between downtown and other sites to the south. It also was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom needs. The property was clean, nice staff, and beautiful views of the ocean.

Nice condo

Condo was nice and clean with a well stocked kitchen. Has a good selection of beach accessories as well. The grounds are nice and it is easy to find parking in the lot.

Very nice unit at great location

This unit was really nice. It was at a central location to the events we planned, both north and south of Kona. Unit was very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would stay here again if/when visiting Kona again.

Condo was clean and had everything you need for the stay. Close to Kona downtown about 5 min with the car. Everything you need for the beach. Beautiful condo, we enjoyed our stay.
