We had the best time at the Whistling Duck. We didn’t want for anything during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped, gas grill works great, hot tub was relaxing and there were plenty of towels for everyone. Beds were comfy, cabin location is convenient, easy to find and access was a breeze. GPS takes you right to it. S’mores around the fire-pit was a big hit. We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers in our group. The bunk room setup is super cute for those bringing children. Plenty of space for kids to run and play outside. All the adult bedrooms have their own bathroom. Also, highly recommend UTV rentals with Off Road Hochatown. We made wonderful memories. Thank you!

We took our annual summer vacation with 5 sons and three girlfriends and our dogs. It was such a blast. The cabin was perfect as advertised and sat on a spot that was private and loaded with fun things to do. It has a central location only minutes from the lake and the river and all the dining we wanted to do. The nights were quiet and the water off of the deck was so nice in the evenings. We will be back and would recommend this property to anyone. Awesome time!

Perfect getaway

Perfect size for us, our 3 daughters and 2 sons with their spouses and children. We spent three days and never left the cabin. We fished, walked, played games.

Loved our stay! Highly Recommend!

Our kids of 12 years old have been friends since elementary so we decided to get all three families together for the first time and go on a vacation. The 12 year olds fished, rode their bikes all over, played in the game room and hung out in the hot tub! All families had their separate rooms with bathrooms and we had the best time sitting out on the deck by the pond laughing!

Weeks before our scheduled stay we took a trip to check out the property and the gravel road going to the neighborhood was awful, full of deep, washed out holes we drove in the ditch to get there, GPS was incorrect taking us to the wrong street, the cabin was old and not well maintained, the pond was so overgrown with weeds that you could not fish in it, it was NOTHING like the photos!!! DISSAPPOINTING!!
