We came here for an anniversary getaway. We had a wonderful time! The best part was the magnificent view and wonderful infinity edge pool! They totally set this property apart!

BEAUTIFUL View! Breathtaking!

The pool and the view were so incredible! The bathtub was great as well. Loved the kitchen and particulalry the table alcove. Overall, one of the best vrbo stays we've had. Owner was communicative and wonderful.

We rented The Bunkhouse for one night to celebrate my 60th birthday. From checkin to checkout and everything in between, it was an amazing stay. The weather was perfect. We spent most of our time in the infinity pool overlooking the river. Property was clean, private and everything you could want for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful view and outdoor experience

This is such a quiet lovely place to get away. The home itself is small but has everything you need. The outdoor patio and view is the best though and makes for the perfect getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were traveling with large dogs and teenagers and it was perfect for our needs. The entire property was fenced allowing a safe space for our dogs to run and be off leash. The dogs loved it. Our family especially enjoyed the heated pool, beautiful view over the valley and river, spending time together on the back patio, and cookouts using the grill. There is a large firepit for campfires and it was nice for family time around the campfire and for stargazing. Overall, this was a perfect space for quality time with our family and dogs. We hope to visit again in the future!

Date Night Getaway

Surprised my husband with a little date night getaway. Love how you are so close to San Antonio but feel like you drove to the hill country. Your place was clean, well furnished with anything we could need & nicely decorated with pretty linens etc. Patio was where we forgot about the rest of the world and enjoyed most of our stay. The view was just wonderful! What a little gem!

Beautiful setting but overpriced

The high points of this property are the exteriors: the view, hot tub overlooking the view, and the country setting. The cabin interior in fact is very simple and basic. We were disappointed with that aspect of it and in our opinion is overpriced; (missing curtains at some windows, no cooking essentials at all except salt and pepper, only two wash cloths supplied, etc) Choose this cabin if you expect to spend most of your time outside - that part is truly amazing!

Heaven

That’s right, we thought we were in heaven. After all what could be more perfect than an infinity edge, heated pool overlooking the Guadalupe River and verdant pastures below. There was limited cell service which was a little frustrating at first. But we quickly realized that was a blessing. This brought back happy memories of many summers spent at hill country girls camp. But alcohol was permitted here. We want to come back!

Double booked by owner. Not notified until 4 hours before check-in

VRBO and this owner really let me down, left me without a place to stay 4 hours before I was to check in. It's the owners fault for not coordinating with other short term apps. However, VRBO is who I used and your company left me hanging. Very disappointing experience with VRBO.

Serene views

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night to celebrate her birthday and we couldn’t have found more of a gem. The views off the back patio are spectacular and we enjoyed the lounge pool. If you’re a stargazer, this is the perfect spot. The place was clean and neat, and the kitchen stocked with utensils. Definitely stay here if you get the chance!

Sister In Law Get Away

This little bunkhouse was just right for us 4 sister in laws! The views were amazing and the "lounging" pool was perfect for us. We loved being away from it all. The owners were awesome! We even made a friend with a raccoon that visited every night. The river was a short mile or so from the entrance to the Ranch and we went to enjoy it one evening. Other than that we did not leave at all! One tiny aggravation was the back door did not close well, but I hate to even complain everything else was perfect!

Secluded Peaceful Hideaway

What a great place to just get away from it all and forget about the world for a few days. Secluded and peaceful with an amazing view, yet only 30 minutes from San Antonio. Everything you need to forget about the stress of everyday life is here, including the super fun and warm plunge pool with infinity edge, a propane grill ready to cook, and a full kitchen. The owner was friendly and super-responsive as well. Recharge and reconnect here and you won't be disappointed!

Great Getaway

We had a great long weekend getaway here. The pool is outstanding, with amazing views. We saw deer, cows, goats, and plenty of other wildlife. We heard the peacock, but never got to see it! A great place to relax and unwind. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Check out the town of Boerne nearby, it was a treat.

Relaxing location with an awesome view!

We only got to spend two days here but had a great time. The ranch bunkhouse offers a very secluded getaway. Very quiet and relaxing soaking in the infinity pool and looking over the Guadalupe River down below the cliffside. There's hardly any houses or people around so it really allows you to feel like you've gotten away from it all. Hope to go back one day when we can spend more time there.
