The home was beautiful, very comfortable. Everything was very clean. In a very good location for Restaurants & shopping. I would recommend everyone to take a look at this place if you are planning on staying in Colorado springs. Very close to pikes peak, Royal Gorge & Garden of the Gods, so many things to see & do. Ken the owner was fantastic.

Great place to stay for a couple of days.Quiet, clean, safe neighborhood.Loaded garage, next to shopping areas.Awesome hosts. Really easy to communicate with and very responsive.Do yourself a favor and book this house next time you're in Colorado springs.

First time in Colorado with our family of 6. The house was affordable, clean, and had exactly what we needed. Communication with the hosts was one of the best I have experienced. Would recommend to anyone/everyone.

It was a great base to explore Colorado Springs. Our daughter is hoping to attend the Air Force Academy and all of the decor helped motivate her even more. We would definitely stay here again!

Ken & Patricia are polite and professional. Effective communication was never an issue. There weren't any "unreasonable" checkout instructions or expectations. The property is exactly as listed. There are plenty of activities (even if you don't leave the property) and a multitude of eating options within walking distance. however, my wife and I did some shopping and used the fully equipped kitchen. i think the only down side is that we couldn't stay longer! we will most certainly look at this property first when we travel to Colorado Springs in the future. Highly recommend this property as long as it doesn't coincide with when we want to be there!

Outstanding location-literally minutes to tons of restaurants and shopping. 15 min to Air Force academy and close to Garden of Gods and Seven Falls attractions. House has everything including AC which you need in summer and is so clean. However the biggest perk is the owner. Truly one of the nicest people we have ever met-goes out of his way to make your stay perfect!! Highly recommend!!

My brother and I stayed at this charming home, which was accurately depicted in the photographs. The Academy House is conveniently located to many stores, highways and points of interest. The communication with Ken, the host, was top notch. The kitchen was well stocked, and the house is very cozy. Access to the house is keyless, so you never need to worry about losing the keys to the property. The backyard is super cute. I wish I could have stayed a few more days. If you’re visiting the Colorado Springs area, I would highly recommend this property.

For our simple trip, the home had everything we needed. The hosts were considerate and punctual on responses, the home was clean and stocked, and we were able to fully enjoy and rest while visiting.

The Academy House was comfortable for our family of four. Close to the grocery store which was great with the full kitchen. Not far from many of the attractions in the area. We were all cozy and comfortable during our week long stay.

Easy parking, great check in, fantastic management communication. During stay blender decided not to operate. Sent message to management team and within very short time received a note asking if they could drop off a replacement in 10 minutes. This was an extended 3 week stay and there was just nothing missing anywhere!!! Very fast WiFi. Location is very good. Recommend for short and extended stays

Host Ken Rivera is a native of Colorado Springs, and his spouse has lived in many locations with the military. We enjoy the outdoors of Colorado in all the ways you could imagine, including building quinze huts for winter camping. We are getting more into golf as we age, ha! We raised two children in Colorado Springs: a businesswoman and her child, a Space Force Major, and a USAF Academy grad.

The 80917 Neighborhood is a vibrant area characterized by charming streets lined with trees and colorful buildings. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this neighborhood is its sense of community; locals often gather at parks, coffee shops, and markets, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The neighborhood offers a delightful mix of cultural experiences, from art galleries showcasing local artists to cozy restaurants serving diverse cuisines. Walking through the area, you can often hear live music while walking to shopping or dining nearby. Our favorite is the organic grocery store five minutes away by car.

Additionally, there are plenty of green spaces where families can picnic, bike, play sports, and let their children run around. The friendly faces of the residents, the rich cultural offerings, and the overall vibrant energy make the 80917 Neighborhood a truly enjoyable place to explore and relax.

Nearby, enjoy the Krispie Creme, Texas Roadhouse, On The Border, Red Robin, Longhorn Steakhouse, Costco, and Safeway.
