This rental was fantastic and exactly as described! It offered plenty of space for our group of five adults and one toddler to move around comfortably. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and centrally located to all the activities we enjoyed throughout the week. We would absolutely love to stay here again on our next visit to the area!

Really nice, clean and well appointed home. Nice open kitchen and living area. Kitchen is fully equipped and very nice. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms had nice sized showers. Backyard was nice and fenced in which is good if you have dogs. House was a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and inviting with the perfect beach vibe throughout. The backyard was especially relaxing and made it easy to unwind. The location was fantastic—a short walk to the beach. The owner went above and beyond with excellent communication and quick responses, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway close to the beach.

A great house in a quiet neighborhood. We were a short walk to the beach. Plenty of great restaurants within walking or a short drive. The house was recently renovated and was in great condition. We would stay again.

Review of Charming 3br near the beach

Overall, everything was good. The home was clean and was as advertised. The only thing I would say is there were cats in the backyard several times. I think the cats were strays.

Thank you for your kind words and for staying with us! We’re glad to hear you found the home clean and as advertised. We appreciate the note about the neighborhood cats—while they aren’t ours, they do occasionally wander through the yard. We’ll do our best to deter them moving forward. Thanks again and safe travels!

The kitchen was well stocked with cups, glasses, plates, utensils, pots and pans. Best of all there was coffee, creamer and snacks. We had a minor issue with the sink faucet pressure and getting the TV to work but the handy man took care of it. The host was quick to respond when we contacted her. The back yard is great with lots of seating for relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was great and Lisa was a very attentive host. It is a very comfortable house. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our time. 5 adults were able to have space to be together and enjoy each other or separate to work or relax. The home has all of the basic items you need during the stay. Upon arrival, the home was very clean. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location is close to a park that has a great farmers' market on Saturdays. The beach is nice and only a short walk away. The Oceanview area in Norfolk is nice and quiet. There was easy access to other areas in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay. Thanks Lisa!

Overall, the location was convenient for visiting Newport News and Norfolk. The house was walkable to the farmers market at the city park and it was walkable to the beaches. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted could have used more towels. The floor was sticky and everybody’s white socks got dirty and a fly problem. Would consider renting again
