A beautiful 3 bedroom house with open floor plan kitchen, dining room and living room all on one floor. All hardwood floors and luxury vinyl tile. Master bedroom has a king bed with full bathroom which has a newly remodeled bathroom with a large shower, and a double sink vanity . Bedroom 2 has 2 queen beds and bedroom 3 has a full bed with a twin bunk over top. Bathroom 2 is a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Large yard and a beautiful beach front where you can sit, swim and sunbathe.
The kitchen is fully loaded with pots, pans and dishes needed to make your favorite meals. The outside deck offers great views and a relaxing area for grilling or napping. There is a great "at home" feel at the house. This house has a separate apartment with its own entrance on the 2nd floor. It is occupied by a single mother and her 5 year old son who oversees this rental. There is a camera in the front and a camera in the back for owners to maintain a safe place only.

Beautiful homey house on the cute lil beach. Lots of space inside & out for all activities. Very clean in all room. Love the decorations and stocked with all we needed. Very family friendly...

Overall, the property was clean and very convenient to vacation in Norfolk or Newport News. The beaches were walkable from House. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, it was very quiet despite nearby roadwork happening on 64. The decorations were a beach theme and the backyard had plenty of seating and just a few steps down to the water. Would definitely consider this location again, but had to purchase our own paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, and soap.

Big clean well maintained fresh as soon as door is opened the waterside is fine for family the value you get is very good with nice newer dock, not real busy area with grocery just down the road & bed rooms are quiet and neat bathrooms are great especially the master in size...i'm a repeat customer

This house is wonderful its clean and beautiful inside and out my son and I enjoyed the fact that it has a fire pit down by the water and I met the owner Bonnie and she is way more than accommodating and a great person, I will be renting another place from her on my visit next year

The house and property are kept up very well, and in a very convenient location. The private beach in the backyard is so quaint, and the regular beach is only a few minutes walk. I recommend staying here!

My overall thoughts about this property, it was cozy and had a rustic, homey feel. It was spacious with a lovely backyard and the bay was perfect to sit and overlook at the beginning and end of the day.

Fun beach place

Fun little beach in front of fun beach house; nicely done but not perfect so we didn't have to worry about kids destroying it.

Easy access as family is close by should’ve brought our boat nice newer dock clean & neat facilities everything worked would stay here again being priced right

My children and I had a wonderful stay! The home is cute and cozy and has pretty much everything you need. The water just steps from the backdoor was amazing! A large very quiet beach is only a 5 minute walk. We had fun finding all kinds of sealife and critters! VA beach boardwalk was only about a 30 min drive so we enjoyed that as well.

We enjoyed this amazing house and property. We got to explore the neighborhood walk across the street to one of the main beaches. Also went to the Virginia zoo and a dolphin sightseeing adventure. We got to eat at the ocean view pier restaurant and enjoy our own cooking of meals. It was a fantastic vacation and we will definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

Welcome home

Property was a convenient location for what my family wanted and needed. Property was clean. Host was responsive and accommodative. Beach on bay a 5 minute walk. Small little beach on property great for the kids while adults can watch and chat around a fire. Ample seating inside and out. Would stay again and recommend!

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willow-by-the-Bay. Wonderful beds, bed linens and air-conditioning. The home was spotless with a well stocked kitchen. It was wonderful not to have to bring linens as you do at many rentals. This home was perfect for four friends to get away together. We particularly enjoyed eating at the seafood restaurant on the Ocean View Pier. It was pleasant sitting outside for an evening cocktail. You will enjoy your stay.

Bright and cozy

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and bright. We loved being on the water and especially kayaking. Kayaking at sunset with my daughter is my strongest takeaway memory. The nearby highway in view from the back porch did not bother us at all (not loud) and we were impressed by the naval aircraft running maneuvers or returning to base in the distance. The house's location was close to fishing, beaches, and restaurants.

Great House!

My family had a great week at the house! Our only issue was a safety concern for senior citizens was the step down from the kitchen to dining room and step down from the hall into living room. We were concerned about the traffic noise from the interstate being so close, but it was not a problem. Bonnie & Steve were great host! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! Thank You!

Great property, perfect location.

We really enjoyed our time. Bonnie was very responsive and accommodating. The location was great for us. Our son is in the Navy so he was able to stay with us when he wasn’t working. It’s a short 25 minute drive to VA Beach and a 20 minute drive to the zoo. The small beach right outside the back door was a big hit for the kids and the dogs. The only negative we had was the water in the house didn’t get hot. It was warm enough for a short shower though. Either way, we had a great time in a great property and we will definitely stay again.

Girls Trip

Enjoyed stay in Norfolk. Very. I’ve accommodations. Only that seemed a little off to me was unavailability of TP! Was half a till when we got there for two bathrooms. (But, we were instructed that we would be responsible for toilet paper) Also beds were not made up, sheets were folded and in rooms. But very. I’ve place and would definitely stay there again.

Short stay

The house was very nice enjoyed it very much. I was not thrilled with the location. The beach area was not clean, needed to be raked, there was seaweed. The first night we got there the kids wanted to swim, my granddaughter hit thr rocks and was all cut up from them. There was not much to do in the area, i personally did not feel safe in the area. I think it was a little pricey.

Noisy Location

There was consistent road noise from the interstate. Helicopters and planes flying over head at all hours of the day and night. Road construction on the interstate also occurs at night. If you are a light sleeper bring noise canceling head phones. Also, bring extra towels. Only 1 towel is provided per person, and were denied any additional when requested.

Very spacious place equipped with all you need. Great offering of board games, games, videos, and books for those rainy days. We did not use the bikes or kayaks, but loved that we had the option. Host is fast in responding to messages. House is in walking distance to the beach. The backyard is beautiful with waterfront access. Patio furniture is comfy, grill on the nice deck, with view of the playhouse. A family's dream. This house is perfect for a multi generational vacation. We absolutely loved our time there, and will be back for sure!
