The property was in a prime location, located on a quite street with some of the friendliness neighbors. The layout of the home, the space available outside, and its walkability to local store and the bay couldn't be beat. We will definitely look to book this property again for our beach getaway!

Very clean. Reasonably close to beach (about a 10-15 minute walk). Homey. Quiet neighborhood, lovely yard. Well stocked. Did not realize the half bath was not attached to the master but rather,It was located jn the garage next to the laundry. That was the only negative IMO.

Everything was nice and close to where we needed to be! They have more than one place to accommodate which was very nice. My kids loved it.

Although we had some trouble signing into the Vrbo app to get the door code when we got there, the host was responsive and we were able to get the code within a few minutes. The house was clean and well furnished. There were plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking. We enjoyed our stay!

The communication with the host was excellent. There was a minor issue with the air but the host kept in touch every step of the way and resolved the issue quickly.The home was located in a cute cul-de-sac which was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel of the area. The home was clean, smelled great and had all the essentials. The home was pet friendly and had a nice enclosed yard. There was outdoor seating but with the humidity and mosquitoes we did not use much.There was a ping pong table that kept our older boys occupied and the essentials for the beach came in clutch.Loved that the washer and dryer was in the garage so we did not have to track sand inside the home. The layout of the home was functional but cozy.We would highly recommend and will keep this property in mind for our next family trip to VA.

Nice place!

We enjoyed our stay. Home was in a nice location, close to Norfolk beaches and several great restaurants. Enjoyed having a back yard for our dog to play fetch as well. Host was very responsive.

The property was clean, water pressure was great, laundry was convenient, beds were all comfortable. Not a problem at all.

Ocean view beach

Great home to stay at. Hosts were very friendly, would retuen our messages immediately. Location is decent not to far from the beach. Overall the family had a good time and house was very clean and confortable.

Norfolk hideaway

This house was great for us! One family from MI and one from FL reunited with our family in VA for a special high school graduation. The house had plenty of room and was furnished with absolutely everything we could possibly need. Close to the beach too! Just plan extra time for traveling through the tunnel construction.

Everything was amazing. The host and the home was great. Pictures of the home were an accurate reflection and my dog LOVED the backyard. He loves to play ball and it was large enough that he enjoyed it as well.

Short Family Getaway

We came to VA to visit some family and wanted a comfortable home to relax in during our down time close to the beach!! This place did not disappoint!! I felt like this was a home away from home. Even the fur babies were comfortable! My 17 year old said she wants to come back again so we will be back. Thanx so much!

Great place for the family. We came for a long weekend getaway with the kids and dogs. Place was great, and it tucked away on a quiet street. If you’re bringing your dogs you’ll appreciate that it has a fence. Check in was extremely easy and the host was always ensuring we had everything we needed. The beach is only a couple blocks away and we had no issues with it. It wasn’t busy any of the days we were there (Friday-Sunday), it was clean and family friendly. We would 100% come back. It’s rare find decent dog friendly places, especially with a fenced in back yard.

Everything it says it has is there. It's such a nice house that can be used for multiple people for sure. The hosts make sure you're good to go and will ask if you need anything which I much appreciated. Any issues they try their best to fix it.The bathroom needs to be redone there is a small crack that could cuz the next individuals to have an issue with if this isn't fixed right away.We could not get into the front of the house because the batteries were dead in the keypad so we had to use the backdoor. Which yes, they did help us with, but this should be kept an eye on because if both keypads' batteries are dead no one can enter into the house and that's a major problem. Have a key or always make sure to replace the batteries to make sure people can actually enter into the house.

House is great!

The property and the owners were wonderful. Communication was great! The property itself was clean and comfortable in a nice neighborhood and our dogs loved the backyard. The one thing we didn’t like was the beach four blocks away. It wasn’t overly clean and there are large storm drains that dump street runoff into the ocean. The water was murky when we were there. However, we did get to watch a pod of dolphins play, which was really cool. We decided to go to Virginia Beach for any further beach days. The drive wasn’t bad at all, and it gave us a nice, quiet place to stay while still being able to drive to locations to visit. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Sons Wedding

Our son is stationed there with the Navy and our family and 1 of his best friends came in for his wedding. We all came in a week before the wedding. Your house was just right for what we needed. We had a great time. You did a great job on the house and we had everything we needed. There were only 2 very small things; the downstairs bathroom could have used a trash can and hand soap. We bought and left some hand soap. Rules to the house should be sent at least a week before ppl are due. Other than that everything was great and we had a blast. Thank you for your hospitality.

Family Vacation

We booked this home for our summer family vacation and unfortunately we wish we would have booked somewhere else. When we arrived to the home and walked into house there was very strong odor like someone had sprayed cologne and we had stepped into a Hollister store. I assume this was to cover the smell of urine that you are greeted with from the living room. The kitchen had multiple roaches in various stages of life cycle so one would assume owners knew of this. The filter for the AC was visible as soon as you walk in from garage and looked as though it had not been changed in several months. The grass in both front and back yard very much needed cut. While the home does look like the pictures they do not represent the true nature of the home. I also asked specifically how long of walk to beach prior to booking and was told a 5-10 minute walk. That could be true for someone traveling alone and only tagging a chair along for the walk and not a family which was pointed out when I asked. The postives to this home is the ping pong table and the neighborhood is quite.

Nice private home in a cul de sac about 5 walking blocks to public beach access. Super clean, VERY comfortable beds, and nicely stocked in a safe neighborhood (Bayside). The host Alan is very communicative, within an hour to respond to VRBO questions. I didn’t have to call him for anything! I would very much recommend this property.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! I had to get work done on my house and was looking for a place to temporarily stay for a couple of days. The house was spacious, clean, and everyone was comfortable. When plans changed, and repairs took longer than anticipated, I had to extend my stay for one more day. Our host was quick to respond and accommodate this request. It was located down the street from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Everyone was responsive, and they checked on us by text during our stay to ensure all was well. Check-in and check-out went smoothly with easy-to-follow directions.
