Great house. Very clean and organized. We were able to cook meals with all the utensils and cookware. Close to the lake. Spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. Would stay again in the future.

This property was very nice! Communication with Suzanne was great, the place was exactly as pictured, very clean and was very affordable. We had 4 adults staying with us and there was plenty of room!I have just a few suggestions -- I would add a clothes rack in the master.... we didn't have any place to hang our clothes, and I noticed the sag in the curtain rod indicating that other guests have used that. Also, the master bedroom mattress might be due for replacing -- it was a bit uncomfortable and squeaked every time you rolled over. Also - the outside furniture needs replaced - we had nowhere to sit outside because of the condition of the chairs.

Thank you for the review! I am sorry I wasn't able to get home in time to do anything about the chairs before your stay. They were damaged in a storm. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the space. I haven't had a chance to replace the Primary mattress, and the bed is a family heirloom that I only have there because there is nowhere else to put it. As the listing mentions, this is my personal residence and not an investment property, so things are definitely not perfect as I have had to work with what I have.

Suzann the host was very good to work with. The property was great and conveniently located to Lake Cumberland and Somerset. We were looking at future retirement areas and this place gave us the opportunity to explore this area of Kentucky and find areas that might suit us for retirement in the future. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Suzann answered my many questions about the area and about Kentucky as quickly as she could. Close to the lake, shopping,and restaurants. Suzann made us feel like we were at home. We wanted to add a day at the beginning of our trip and Suzann went above and beyond to make that happen. While the weather did not fully cooperate no one can predict or control that. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you again Suzann for opening up your home to us.
