☀️Experience the charm and tranquility of this beautifully maintained home on Wampler’s Lake, a peaceful 780-acre spring-fed retreat. Perfect for families, water sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers, this cozy getaway offers an ideal setting for couples, families, and small gatherings.

☀️Enjoy the ultimate lake experience with a private dock, sandy beach entrance, and shallow swim area. Air-conditioned living spaces for comfort, 🛶kayaks for exploring or fishing 🐠, and a dock to tie up your water toys🚤. You'll have everything you need for outdoor fun, including kayaks, boogie boards, inflatable tubes, croquet equipment, fishing poles, and more. Settle into the night with a nice fire at the fire pit lakeside eating a s'more or drinking your favorite beverage with your closest family & friends.

☀️The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, serving trays, and bath towels are provided for added convenience.

☀️On cooler days or nights, relax in the heated-floor sunroom, perfect for cozy evenings, and enjoy the proximity of the water from there—just 10 steps from the deck to the lake’s edge. The cottage is also heated and ready to keep you comfortable on cooler days.

☀️A short two-block walk takes you to Jerry’s Pub Restaurant🍻, famous for the best perch dinner in the area. In just 8 minutes, you can drive to Brooklyn, MI, known as the "Heart of the Irish Hills" with over 50 lakes within a 15-mile radius. Brooklyn offers a variety of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and convenient access to all the essentials you may need.

☀️Year-round activities here on the lake range from a nice quiet spring getaway, summer boating fun, fall retreats of color into winter ice fishing or snowmobiling.

☀️This all-season home is available in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall- enjoy close Ann Arbor Michigan, and the University of Michigan campus for football game days, parent's weekends, or graduation day. MIS Michigan International Speedway races, concerts, wineries we have lots to do locally.

***WINTER GUESTS: First floor has heat; each bedroom has an additional heater if needed. The sunroom has heated tile floors. Dock is removed during off-season.

We loved our stay here. Super cute cottage, with everything you need. Definitely go to Jerry’s for lunch or dinner. Great food and fun times there. Quick walk from the cottage. Thanks again for sharing your cottage with us! We hope to stay there again next summer.

The description of this cottage was spot on, everything listed was there plus some! Laura was very accommodating, responded almost immediately when I texted her. VERY enjoyable stay!!

Cute lake cottage

Loved the beautiful lake. We used the kayaks daily. There was nearby hiking also that we enjoyed. The house was well stocked and comfortable.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Cottage was besutiful, Very high end, lake view was fabulous. I grew up going to Wamplers every summer. Weather was not good not your control. I will have a talk with the man upstairs about that. The cottage had everything you could have needed.

Wampler Lake

This property was perfectly located for our needs. Walking distance to Jerry’s restaurant was a plus! The view from the deck was so relaxing and beautiful. We stayed outside from sun up to sun down. We felt right at home.

We had another outstanding stay at this adorable cottage — the description fits perfectly because it truly is adorable! The property was amazing, clean, and comfortable, and we had a great weekend once again. The host was wonderful — very friendly, quick to communicate, and made us feel completely welcomed. This was our second time renting, and we hope to come back again in the future. Highly recommend!

Great property

Wonderful stay with teens

We had a great time in Brooklyn for the State cross country finals. The beds were comfortable, the house was warm n cozy while outside the trees and lake were all the shades of autumn! We even walked to dinner.

We had an amazing time during our stay. The cottage is exactly how it is displayed in the photos with added touches for a cozy cottage vibe. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of water toys. We used the kayaks, paddle board and fished off of the dock. We didn’t want our vacation to end. The shower is a bit small but we made do. It’s definitely not a deal breaker.Overall great place, location & host!We love this area.

Very clean, great location. Shower was a bit small for the larger broad shouldered men, but got the job done. Few little hiccups there was only 2 paddles for 4 kayaks so we could not all go out at same time. There was no sceubber for the diahes and the garbage disposal was nit working properly. Overall good experience. Easy check in and out. Wiah the check out time was later felt a bit rushed in the morning. Would love to enjoy the lake with a cup of coffee ine last time.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. If we had been made aware of the garbage disposal issue during your visit, we would have resolved it right away. We were in communication throughout your stay, but this concern wasn’t mentioned at the time. Regarding the paddles, as we discussed, there are typically more available. Unfortunately, two were damaged by a previous guest, and we were unable to replace them before your arrival. We’ve since restocked them to ensure future guests have everything they need to enjoy the kayaks. We truly appreciate your input, and we’re always working to improve the experience for our guests.

House was clean, beds very comfortable, and view of the lake excellent from the back porch. Picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, and lots of outdoor seating. Host quick and responsive to questions.

Great place! Laura is a fabulous host. The family love for the house comes through in all the details. It's well stocked and comfortable for guests. The kayaks and paddle boards are a great amenity. We had a fantastic weekend!! My only warning to others is that the bathroom is between the ground floor and second floor so you always have to go up or down stairs to use it. This wasn't a problem for us, but something to note if it would be a problem for you!
