Perfect cabin for family fun! Amazing attention to detail, luxurious linens, and well equipped kitchen. The game room is really cool, and the kids LOVE the bunk room!

AMAZING STAY!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous view and cabin. The decor in the cabin makes you feel at home as well as the family that owns it. We felt very welcome moment we walked into the time we left. Lots of things to do in the area. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this cabin. We definitely will be back for another visit.

Changing the VRBO game!!

The Knotty Bear is exceptional! The attention to detail & amenities they offer are over the top! From the s’mores kit to FULL kitchen & bathrooms we were pleasantly surprised. Even my 15 year old son kept mentioning how awesome the place was. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin

Beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains! The house was very clean and decorated in a modern woodsy vibe. The owners communicated easy to follow directions and check in was seamless with a simple entry code. They left a book that answered any question that you might have about the house and area including things to do nearby. Our daughter lives in the area and we would definitely consider renting again.

Cute and Cozy Cabin in Tahoe National Forest

My family and I recently stayed at this cabin and absolutely loved our time there. It is centrally located to a lot of hiking in the Tahoe National Forest. The cabin is stocked with just about anything you could possibly need, including toiletries. The hosts even included some items for our dog to use during our stay such as blankets, stainless steel bowls, and dog treats. Krista was very communicative throughout the whole process and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property and we can't wait to book it again. Thank you Krista and Gregg!

Family ski trip

We had a great time at the knotty bear! There were 9 of us with 5 kids ranging age almost 3 to 13, and there was appropriate accommodations and entertainment for all. The game room was a major hit for all ages. Attention to details at the house was awesome too. Little things like all the light switches being labeled and having a boot drier by the door made things less hectic and more comfortable. Communication with the owner, Krista, was quick and easy. We will be back the next time we need a house that size!

Cozy Cabin w/ Everything You’ll Need!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin rental! From before we even arrived, Krista & Gregg were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and we always felt well taken care of.The cabin itself was both cozy and modern, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for our trip, including all the kitchen appliances for cooking, and even furniture for our infant, such as a playpen and a highchair – it really made traveling with a little one so much easier. We were also impressed with the thoughtful extras like toiletries, in case we’d forgotten anything.As a family of 6 with four little ones from ages 1 to 11, One of the biggest highlights of the cabin was the game room! It had a ping-pong table, darts, and a huge collection of board games, which kept everyone entertained for hours. It was such a nice bonus that really added to the fun of our stay.We also brought our eight-month-old Maltipoo along for the trip, and the host went above and beyond to make her feel welcome too! They provided blankets, rags to wipe off her wet and dirty paws after walks, and had food/water bowls for her. It's rare to find a place so accommodating to pets, and we truly appreciated it all.I’ll be sharing this hidden gem with all my family and friends. If you’re looking for a relaxing and fun getaway, this cabin is the perfect spot!
