Our stay was wonderful. Everything had a personal touch and was welcoming and clean. The area was peaceful and the view is beautifully surrounded by trees. The house slept 8 of us comfortably. 3 bathrooms made getting ready easy and the washer and dryer was a great extra touch. AC worked great and there were throw blankets available. The kitchen was stocked with nice extras like coffee, tea, waters, and cereal/oatmeal. There were a lot of games to play and a full game room downstairs. The house is everything you see in the pictures. Highly recommend!

The host was communicative from the time I booked my stay to timely responses during my stay. The home is beautiful, and the location is ideal - just far enough from town but close enough for a quick jaunt to grab a coffee. The views from the living room's full-length windows are breathtaking; the pictures do not do it justice. The home's fully stocked amenities make your time away from home seamless.

Wonderful home, very clean with everything you would ever need in a great location. Our host was very attentive, though we needed nothing. Great spot for families, couples, etc. Enjoyed exploring the area on foot and town as well. Will return!

It was a wonderful experience. When we got there, it was beautifully set up in a bottle of wine put out for us to celebrate my friend’s birthday. There was a moment I reached out to the host and she was extremely fast on getting back to us. We all agreed we would definitely come back here again and stay in her beautiful home.

Fun family vacation!

The game room was awesome, our hostess was easy to reach with our questions and the house was big, comfortable and beautiful -- overall, a really fun family vacation near beautiful Yuba river and lakes.

Perfect Stay!!

Six of us stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect! It was clean and exactly like the pictures. It was close to downtown but still secluded in the woods. The host was super responsive and very nice. I’d stay here again for sure!!

Perfect home for our family trip

We stayed at the house while in town for a wedding and it was very clean and spacious. A great location, gorgeous views, lots of games and extremely comfy beds. Everyone had a great time!

GORGEOUS!

Beautiful stay

The house is beautiful, with a well equipped kitchen and great furnishings. It was also completely spotless when we arrived. Geeta was very warm and communicative. Would definitely stay again!

Our home is very special as it is a custom built home from the 70's by the Lancaster family of Nevada City. It sits on 1 Acre and is surrounded by beautiful tall redwoods and pines. The home has been updated with beautiful touches. We took over the home in December of 2021 and have furnished it with Mid Century Modern Decor to stay true to the homes time period.

This property has something for everyone all year round. For the Winter, we get snow storms and the property is super cozy with 2 wood fireplaces and a cozy fire pit for those cool nights. For the Spring and Summer months, our guests can enjoy the near by Lake for Camping, fishing, water skiing and more. Additionally, you will be pleased to find many award winning wineries, restaurants and local attractions such as the Empire Mine only minutes from our home. During Christmas time, Nevada City holds it's annual Victorian Christmas and hosts thousands of excited guests from all over. If you want more, then you will surely enjoy all the special shops and boutiques Nevada City has to offer.

We are honored and happily welcome LGBTQ, are Business friendly, Pet friendly and Family friendly.
