We are walking distance to Treasure Island Boardwalk, John's Pass Boardwalk, beach access, public boat docks, and much more while giving you the privacy and comfort you can't get at a hotel or condo complex.
Full one bedroom unit, updated kitchen, new appliances, carport, quiet residential area, double lot with privacy fence, hot tub, beautiful gardens, grilling, coin operated washer and dryer, barbeque, and outdoor dining. Walking distance to Treasure Island Boardwalk, John's Pass Boardwalk, beach access, public boat docks, and much more.
Fully updated kitchen with all amenities-pantry stocking services available upon request. Kayak, paddle board, segway, jet ski, & bicycle rentals available upon request.

Great location with beach & John's Pass in walking distance

Wish the hot tub was working! Had a couple of minor issues that Susan fixed right away. Very attentive host!

After killing 5 cockroaches . . .

This property reflects very badly on VRBO. It was dirty. You pull up into a garage that has a rusted out washer and dryer that you can "pay" to use. Anyone who put their clothes in there would be crazy. The garage area had plenty of toys and rusty beach chairs. With a little elbow grease, the place could be cleaned. We then entered after punching in the code to the door. Living room was adequate until you sat on the couches and sank almost to the floor. Kitchen table was equipped with two chairs that were old and rickety. I almost fell out of one when I sat in it because the rungs were coming out. The kitchen: there was a dish drainer to the right of the sink full of dishes. We were informed that the dishwasher repair man would be there that evening because the dishwasher wasn't working. (I believe I read that excuse in a previous review.) Needless to say, after five days, no one showed up to fix the dishwasher. The stove top was filthy. I am glad we bought paper towels and Lysol cleaner to clean the dirt. The bedroom: sheets had holes in them and had previous sewing repairs. Needed a stool to climb into the bed. Cockroaches appeared every day which was disgusting. The outside yard of the house was not lush and green. If the owner/manager put about $5000 in upgrading the property, it would be a nice place to stay because of it's proximity to the beach. The beach was the only redeeming quality.

The Good, the Bad, the rest of it

Good-The rental is in a good location. Close to everything. property Manager was available. Bad-The dishwasher broke, property manager tried to fix it herself by literally tearing out the dishwasher. At one point she had turned off the electricity to the entire place and was rewiring something with the dishwasher. Water went everywhere including on rugs that were then left in the place for us to deal with. The rug under the table was soaked with nasty dishwasher water from the previous renter and left there! Needless to say, she couldn't get it going. There was no drain plug for the sink, so property manager gave us a yeti lid to put in the sink to hold water, FUN!! The one dish rag was used to try to clean up the dishwasher that didn't work. We ended up going to Walmart and buying some so we could wash dishes by hand. Bonus! When the property manager was messing with the electric to the location, she knocked out the power to the fridge and fortunately we caught it before it ruined our $250 worth of food we had bought for the week. No dustpan or broom to sweep up with. We have a small dog, and the backyard was mostly dirt, so she tracked so we bought one to sweep the floor. Very limited TV viewing selection. The property manager turned the outside security light off. We complained that we thought the light bulb had burned out and she told us that she turned it off. We then were able to turn it back on for safety. We realize that things happen, and things break. However, we were on vacation. We did not want to do dishes on vacation. We specifically rented a place with a dishwasher to prevent this. The property manager did offer to give us tickets to a boat tour that we had already bought. We feel that she should have offered to give us part of the rent back. The whole dishwasher fiasco took away from a whole day of our vacation. Very disappointing. The rest of it-The property looks good online but all the stuff that happened while we stayed was not good, the property manager attempted to make things right but overall would not rent again. We did take pictures of everything because there is a $5,000-damage policy we had to buy before we could rent this property and we wanted to make certain that with the condition of the dishwasher and everything else we would not be on the hook for anything. The old adage applies here- buyer beware could not be more true

Relaxing Beach Stay

Excellent accommodations for a beach vacation. Located across the road from a public access. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Susan is awesome.
