Located on the scenic Monterey Peninsula, this welcoming cottage is walking distance to downtown and to the beach. With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a queen Sleep Number bed and two twin beds, guests will feel right at home. The updated bathroom is equipped with a rainfall shower and complimentary blow dryer. Our fantastic property with off street parking also offers WiFi, smart cable TV, washer, and dryer. French doors open up to the newly installed backyard deck with a pub table, couch and seating. Our place will help you feel at home while visiting all of the beautiful sites including Historic Cannery Row, Carmel by the Sea, Pebble Beach, Monterey and Fisherman's Wharf. Perfect for traveling medical workers, only 4 miles to CHOMP (Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula).

The Cottage was perfect in more ways than we could have imagined for our extended stay. Julie and Sal are wonderful hosts, kind, welcoming, immediately responsive and helpful, going out of their way to insure our visit met our needs. We appreciate their quick response whenever we contacted them. They've designed a lovely Cottage and beautiful patio/furniture, with so many thoughtful features that made our stay both relaxing and comfortable...Comfy bed/linens, beautiful stall shower, kitchen with every convenience, great electronics, and the additional garage space for storage made life so much simpler...every detail for a guest's enjoyment has been considered. The Cottage location is ideal for walking to downtown PG, Asilomar, the Library and many beach walking paths. We look forward to returning to the Cottage...thanks, Julie and Sal.

Perfect location, we walked, hiked, biked, shopped and played golf. Hosts were amazingly helpful and easy to contact with quick responses. Pictures shown in the listing are accurate and up to date. Very cute quiet neighborhood. We really look forward to staying again. It was like home!

Wonderful hosts and home

My husband and I had a wonderful and restful stay at Peaceful Cottage from July 1 to 30. First, Julie and Sal are nice, thoughtful and accommodating hosts. Communication with them was easy and clear, from booking, to pre-arrival instructions, during our stay, and check-out. Careful thought and design were evident in the way they furnished and prepared this small but charming cottage in a minimalist uncluttered manner. The home had everything needed for the comfort of guests. It is decorated with simple yet pleasing wall art. I particularly liked a framed quote that said "collect moments, not things." The location is perfect: a short 5-minute walk to a vibrant and neat downtown and another 5 minutes to the shoreline with delightful views. Yet, the cottage is located in a quiet and well-maintained neighborhood, and walking from the cottage to any direction is very pleasant. It is indeed a Peaceful Cottage. We would stay here again. Thank you, Julie and Sal.

Temporary Home During House Construction

The Pacific Grove cottage is an absolutely charming little home in a quiet neighborhood of architecturally interesting, colorful Victorian cottages. It is in a small, quaint town with cute little shops and restaurants walking distance away on the Monterey Bay. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is nearby and the hosts provide passes to this.The cottage itself is physically pleasing and has everything you might need, plus special little touches like beautiful stationary and cards, gourmet coffee and tea. There are two bedrooms. One has a queen, sleep number bed. The second has two twins. The bed is comfortable and attractive. We were able to fit a small folding table in the corner of the second room with a folding chair that we brought for our computer since we moved in for four months. That was tight. The living room has inviting furniture and a large TV. The house has books and games. The kitchen is complete for cooking, although the dining table is small. It worked well for the two of us, but could seat only 3. The yard has beautiful landscaping, a large outdoor couch, other furniture and a BBQ. You can tell inside and out that the hostess is an interior designer!We had a few minor issues with the TV, a faucet, and the program on the bed. Our calls to the hosts were promptly answered and the issue addressed. No complaints there.Our overall impression is this is an excellent little home near the ocean, in a great neighborhood, with outstanding hosts.

It is a short drive away from Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey old fisherman’s wharf, Cannery Row, the aquarium and much more.
