Wonderful relaxing property in quite area, short walk to the Aquarium and 30 mins to Fishermans Wharf. Both bedrooms are en-suite.

Wonderful weekend away

This cottage was a perfect place to be to relax and enjoy a weekend in Monterey. We were able to just park our car and walk to everything we wanted to do, and to get back and just enjoy the lovely cottage. We would definitely return again!

Lovely and perfectly located

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this sweet place for our first visit to Monterey. So many thoughtful details to make our time at the house a memorable delight... having coffee and lunch by the fountain in the beautiful backyard and enjoying playing Bananagrams and a movie. We appreciated the books about the area and made use of the book of Day Hikes in the area! We hope to come back!

Cottage Gem near downtown Monterey

Simply wonderful. From the easy check-in to the peaceful neighborhood and the well-stocked kitchen, gorgeous outdoor spaces and very clean bedrooms and bathrooms, all was right with the world here. An easy walk down to the Aquarium and Cannery Row and neighborhood restaurants. We stayed 3 nights and it felt like our home. Highly Recommend.

Charming Home on the hill

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It had character and charm, and was comfortable for all of us. The backyard/garden was amazing and great to enjoy in the morning and evening. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and the bikes were an added bonus.

Great experience!

We used this property as our base for running the Big Sur Marathon. Great location and a great house. We loved that we could see the ocean from the back deck. The house is nicely decorated, very well-supplied, and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet but close to everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for more!

Lovely Monterey vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed Monterey/Pacific Grove. The area is beautiful and teeming with wildlife. The aquarium was so fun-thanks for the passes. Along the coast, we enjoyed watching mother and baby seals, many otters and whales breaching in the distance. We also enjoyed seeing the places/real people of Steinbeck’s Cannery Row. Your home is very comfortable and yard is lovely.

An absolute jewel

We loved our stay at this home. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well stocked. And the location just blocks from cannery row but away from tourists was ideal! We hope to return!!

Delightful home!

Wonderful location and home was very comfortable and very clean. The back deck view was gorgeous as you could watch the fog roll in or feel the sunshine on your face. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Location

We had a very nice stay at this location. Walking distance to the Cannery Row, Aquarium and Rec trail. The house was cute and well equipped with everything needed.

Beautiful, comfortable cottage

This beautiful cottage was the perfect getaway. Impeccably clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. The backyard garden with pretty view was very much appreciated from our breakfast table. We were fortunate with the weather and the beauty that surrounds this area. The perfect place to relax after a day of visiting our favorite Pt. Lobos or visiting the Monterey Bay aquarium, the sweet downtown area of Pacific Grove. A wonderful memory. Lovely cottage. Roses blooming out the rear door. While we ate out, kitchen appeared well equipped. Beds comfortable. Very convenient for our events. We'd stay again.

Perfect stay for a family!

Amazing rental. The whole family loved it. The kids kept saying how much they wanted to stay longer. It’s an ideal location for families, with the added bonus of great playgrounds for kids within easy walking distance. We can’t wait to go back.

Monterey beauty

The property was great for 2 couples as it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, allowing privacy but shared space as well. We had small views of Monterey Bay from the back windows, nice surprise! We would definitely stay here again when staying in Monterey.

5 stars all around

First impression was the booking process and communication, which went smoothly and with prompt responses to questions. Upon arrival, the description of the property, including the numerous positive reviews, were all accurate. The place is *very* charming and well stocked with kitchen supplies, extra bed linens, bathroom items and more. The location is fantastic for walking to Cannery Row and a very easy short drive to Carmel, downtown Monterey, Point Lobos State Park and other places to visit. Our family of 4 adults have stayed in numerous vacation rentals and we’re all in agreement we would stay here again.
