Come enjoy the sun, sand and sea in this OCEAN FRONT home in Jamaica Beach on Galveston Island! Just walk outside and you're standing on the beach! All you can hear is the sound of the waves crashing into the shore!
We are located only minutes from Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park, the Pleasure Pier, Galveston State Park, the movie theater, the miniature golf course, the Airplane Museum and even NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk are close enough if you'd like to spend a day there! Marketing.Galveston.com shows a calendar of events.
Jamaica Beach has a fairly new neighborhood pool for you to enjoy during your stay. Last year it was $5 per person to get in. They tell us they open the pool for the Spring/Summer season when the weather warms up.
We are on the west side of the island and only about 10 minutes from the Strand and Stewart Beach.
This home has a ramp to walk up to enter it rather than multiple flights of stairs. There are stairs inside the home to access the upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the first floor.
Sleeping arrangements include one bedroom down with a king bed and full bed, one bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and a full bed.
And another bedroom upstairs with a full size bunk bed (sleeps 4).
There is a full bathroom both downstairs and upstairs and a shower outside.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans and cooking utensils. It has a stove with a double oven, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor and all the comforts of home! Central A/C and ceiling fans throughout. The living room has a large flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is also a tv and dvd player in both bedrooms. Cable tv is available in the living room and the master bedroom. Our home also has wifi internet. Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, trash bags, tp, and some beach toys like boogie boards, beach chairs, etc are all included so just need to add YOU to this trip!
We have a fire pit right on the beach for you to enjoy roasting marshmallows, making s'more's or just snuggling and stargazing! Book today for an amazing getaway! Permit # STR24-00090

Great property with an awesome host. All our requests were indulged and then some.The only thing that beats the view of the Ocean is the cleanliness of the this beaut of a holiday home. To the host - thank you for making our holiday memorable.,

House was great. Beach access was amazing. Overall a wonderful weekend. Very prompt response from host. Hopefully the house will have a beach umbrella next time. That was the only thing missing!

The house was perfect! We had a wedding on the beach right in front of the house! The rooms were comfortable and perfect for all our guest! They had a fire pit on beach! A bbq and a hot tub! The host was quick to answer any questions and was so accommodating. It was perfect!! Also the cleaning person , Beth was amazing!! We ended up making friends and inviting her to the wedding :) we would definitely rent again!!

Perfect view of the ocean from anywhere (just about) in the house, even in the bedroom ! The ramp to the house made it even easier to come and go (dont care who ya are it was easy). AC/Heat worked great, we had a cold front beginning of spring break but luckily the last day it was much warmer. Hot tub was awesome, chairs down on the lower deck too….. Master bed was firm which is what we like, we slept great for being away from home. Kids enjoyed their upstairs area, almost as much as we did haha. Stores right across the street which was really handy (restaurant etc). Just far enough you didnt know they were there, close enough for being handy. The deck was pretty large, man all around this was a great place and it was clean zero complaints! The host was super responsive as well……. great experience thanks for the stay!

We got no review comment from guest. Wish I knew what made this an 8/10. For some people they never give perfect 10
No matter how good. Never a complaint with me during whole stay. Was there promptly when u had a question on how to open and start hot tub. Everything was immaculately cleaned. I know guest really wanted an early check in we couldn't accommodate on such short notice...probably why we didn't get the perfect score we usually get. But place is very popular and can't always accurate late and early.
