This was a perfect home base for a girls weekend. The kitchen is equipped with everything we could have imagined needing. Would absolutely stay here again and again!!

Absolutely amazing views and gorgeous home fully stocked with everything u could ever need!! Wonderful prompt communication with the hosts and they were extremely kind. Quiet environment with deer and turkeys to greet u!

Eileen's & Glenn's home is as perfect as a rental can be! Everything was spotless & in perfect condition. We appreciated all the details that helped make our stay so comfortable. LOVED the outside deck space complete with the fire table! Beautiful views! Thank you for answering all our questions & allowing us to stay in your home! We look forward to coming back to the area & highly recommend your home to others. We've stayed in many other rentals & your home was by far the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barn & Barrel. The house was situated in a peaceful area with absolutely fantastic views of the lake from the living room, bedrooms and especially the back deck, where we spent many hours catching up. Everything was spotlessly clean and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (dishes, pots/pans, coffee makers, spices, etc.). The bedrooms were cozy with very comfortable mattresses; the ensuite bathrooms were spacious and modern. The house was centrally located close to wineries, restaurants, little villages, farm markets and quaint potteries. We were four adults and have decided we need a return trip. This will be our go to house of course!

My husband and I were there with our two grown children and their spouses. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the area was and how peaceful sitting out on the deck was. We enjoyed the fireplace and enjoyed our coffee outside in the morning. We would definitely like to plan another stay in the future. It was so nice and clean, which is something we all appreciate. We tried to leave everything as good as we found it. Thank you so much for creating such a peaceful and restful place to rejuvenate. We ate out all meals, but maybe would eat in next time, once or twice. We wish there would have been something a bit closer, but so worth the drive anyway! Thank you again and wish the two of you all the best!

The house is absolutely beautiful, very clean and has just about everything that you can imagine!! The porch is fantastic and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the views and wildlife. The location is perfect...very remote yet within 15 min of a variety of restaurants, stores, etc. We reached out a few times with questions and they were all answered promptly. The rooms are spacious and clean and we never felt crowded. We will definately come back!!

We stayed at this beautiful property for 3 days with our friends to explore the regions wineries. The view is stunning and we enjoyed our breakfasts and one dinner on the deck which sits up high and overlooks Keuka Lake. The bedroom/bathroom situation was ideal as they were located on opposite ends with the great room and kitchen in the middle. Both bedrooms face the lake and you wake up to the beautiful view. The property is spotlessly clean, freshly remodeled and very well equipped. It was the perfect stay. We definitely plan on returning. We also enjoyed the quiet (the property is a bit off the beaten path near the end of a road) but still only about a 15 minute drive from Pen Yan.

A great time with a beautiful view and well supplied house. The only improvement would be the driveway and have some type of parking barriers.

The Barn and Barrel is a beautifl property which makes you feel right at.home. Everything is top notch with great amenities for your comfort. We loved our stay and will definitely visit again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay—everything was just as described and even better than expected. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, which made our visit easy and enjoyable. Great views at the end of a dead-end street - little traffic noise. The location worked perfectly for us, and we would gladly return or recommend this place to others.

Very nice place. Clean and perfect for 2 couples. Beautiful view and porch which provides a quiet place to relax and share conversation. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place off the beaten path. Had a great time!

The place was just as described. Perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful views and on a quiet road. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We all had an amazing weekend....Will absolutely stay here again

Lovely decor, view of the lake from the deck, kitchen utensils with nice assortment of pots and pans, comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. We visited several parks which were within a 30 minute drive. Would definitely recommend!

Great House and Perfect Location

The house was beautiful and spotless. Perfect layout for 2 couples. We enjoyed the deck with the view of the lake the most. It was quiet and a perfect weekend getaway. The driveway is very steep and not paved.

Great home. Great view. The lay out of the house was perfect for two couples. One bedroom and bathroom on one end and one bedroom and bath on the other. Really well stocked kitchen. Even small appliances like a crockpot, blender, electric kettle etc. It was even better than advertised.

Fabulous VRBO

We were 2 couples who came to enjoy wine and food in the Lakes. This place was perfect. We loved that the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the living area. Each couple had their own bathroom. The deck was wonderful for sitting out in the evening. We woke up to deer grazing across the street. This place has everything we needed. Perfect VRBO

Beautiful cabin with amazing views

Every morning I woke up to a new view, from fog settled over the lake with snow blowing by, or bright light glinting off shimmering waters, or pinks and oranges reflecting off white snow.The whole house was like that. Expansive, expressive, accomodating, comfortable, and just wonderful to rest and relax in. There were 5 of us, and it never felt crowded, but it always felt cozy when we all came together to watch a movie or cook dinner.I cannot recommend this place enough!

Perfect Getaway!

This house was beautiful! Cozy, spotless and well-stocked throughout. Located on a quiet, private road off the beaten path, yet close enough to many local attractions. Our favorite part was watching the sunrises and sunsets from the porch with an amazing view of the lake. The stars were also unbelievable at night! The host was super-responsive and accommodating (especially with our last-minute request to come up a day early!). We are so thankful for the extra time, as the weather was perfect all week. One thing to point out is that the driveway is very steep and unpaved. There's an area to turn around at the top though, so it didn't cause us any problems. We would definitely recommend this home and stay here again!

I cannot say enough about this stay, the hosts and their home. If you look at the pictures, it’s exactly the same and more! Their home was super clean and had EVERYTHING you will need for home away from home. I would say your shower soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrush along with clothes and food is all you need to walk in with. Their appliances were all like new condition! Their kitchen is complete with EVERYTHING!!!Bedrooms were great with a queen in each room so the place is great for 2 couples. Each bedroom had their own HUGE walk in shower! Living room had nice furniture with reclining Couch, Loveseat and 2 chairs. Very Large porch outback that you can see the lack and beyond. It was snowing when we there but during a little warmer weather, the fire table outside with chairs will be awesome. Driveway is steep but plenty of room for you to park and turnaround. Eileen and Glenn were very quick to respond to all our questions upon arrival. House and switches are well marked do it made life easy. WINERIES- would recommend Hermann Weimer, Ravines and Weis as our top 3 But so many around so explore. We had a great meal if you like Mexican at Casa Mescal in Penn Yan. Close and great food/service. Visited Windmill Creek market - worth the walk around into the little shops. I look forward to going back to that area and would stay there again without hesitation! Thank you Barn and Barrel for a lovely home that made our stay there so wonderful!
