Blonde ash floors, clerestory windows and a modern feel to this clean, contemporary one story studio. Beautiful Maple bed with McCroskey mattress. Contemporary kitchen with Thermador cooktop and microwave/convection oven..(NOTE! there is NO disposal and food waste must not be put down the drain!) No outside appliances, no sporting equipment, including bikes inside. ( There is a gate and suspended rack for bikes outside)>
Modern Saarinen dining table and 4 brightly colored Italian chairs. Aarto cart. Great sound system with both a CD player and tail for your iPod. Internet connection. Bath has a shower only. All linens supplied. Outside table and chairs on patio. I love that I live only a couple of blocks to Arana Gulch and then down to the Walton Lighthouse and Seabright beach. We have great restaurants and coffee shops ( La Posta, Tramonte, Midway, Charlie Hong Kong, Verve) nearby as well as Shoppers Corner and Staff of life grocery stores and a whole foods, too! Kuumbwa Jazz club downtown as well as the Rio Theatre are great venues for music!
The City of Santa Cruz requires that I collect a 14% TOT tax from any occupants staying less than 30 days.

Beautiful place, extremely responsive and kind host, and incredible location! I stayed here for a month and could not be happier with my experience, truly one of the best stays I’ve ever had in a short-term rental.

Light,bright and airy. Although a studio,it did not feel caustrophobic. Very clean.Adequate cooking facilities. All amenities are high end(,soaps,linens cleaning products.)Good location on quiet residential street. If you are short,be sure to ask for step stool as everything is built high.

The studio is spacious, bright and clean.It is stocked with many basic necessities as well as a few thoughtful treats! The location is near stores yet it is a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable bed!

Check in was simple. Very clean, bright studio. Anina, our host was friendly, accessible, and helpful. We’ve been to Santa Cruz before but never to Seabright. We enjoyed the neighborhood, especially its proximity to restaurants, Staff of Life natural foods grocery, and Arana Gulch trails.

Perfect Place for Us

Perfect location for walks to harbor, downtown, and restaurants. Quiet, clean neighborhood with easy parking. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. It's now our favorite place to stay in Santa Cruz!

Well located for my needs - a brief book writing vacation. I needed nearby: a swimming pool with flexible lap hours - check. Good natural foods - check. Birding opportunities - check. Jazz club - check. Quiet walking neighborhood - check. Bonus: saw a pod of dolphins close to shore hours before the first storm of the season blew in. And yes, I did get in quite a bit of book writing!

Neary Lagoon, a birding hotspot in the heart of Santa Cruz. I joined the Santa Cruz Birding Club for an early outing to the lagoon, looking for late migrants and wintering birds.

Quiet comfort

The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is large, bright, and very clean. Anina was readily available to assist and answer any questions we had. Everything we needed was provided and worked very well. The shower was excellent, the wifi was fast and reliable, and the kitchen appliances and accessories were very good. The room is quiet, as is the neighborhood. One parks on the street, but this was not an inconvenience for us. The location is well positioned in Santa Cruz within a mile or two of downtown, the harbor or good shops along Soquel. The area is ideal for biking and walking, with a nearby trail along the harbor gulch. We did not convert the bed into chairs while we were there, since we were mostly out and about. As shown in the picture, the beds are quite low, which was not at all a concern for the two of us. There is no television, but again we did not care as we were not there to watch TV. We certainly would stay again and would recommend this place to anyone needing a clean and quiet base in the area to visit Santa Cruz and its surroundings.

We spent a week in the Santa Cruz area with this cute studio as a home base. It worked well for our needs. Anina was super friendly and helpful with local suggestions. If she gives you a restaurant recommendation, take it! She knows what she’s talking about! We loved the neighborhood - it’s a lovely stroll down to restaurants and to the beach.

Clean, modern, location, location,location

Anina was friendly and responsive to texts. Note: you cannot store sports gear inside the studio but Anina may have space in her garage if you ask her before you book. Also, note that one of the futons has a comfortable memory foam cover. This location is centrally located in Santa Cruz in a nice neighborhood. Whole foods, staff of life, the beaches, Charlie Hong Kong's, and the pacific climbing gym were some of my frequent stops. For entertainment the Rio & the crepe place are near by entertainment options.

Having Ryan as a guest was a real pleasure.He seemed to enjoy Santa Cruz and living here very much. To see someone who lives on the other side of the country settle in so quickly To the Santa Cruz life, complete with surfboards, it is a joy.I could tell he loved being here- and when we did see each other in passing, he always had a great smile! He left the place clean, and I hope that one day he’ll come back again.

Beautiful, Comfortable Studio

We enjoyed our one-month stay at this studio. It is very comfortable and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. About a half mile to the beach, so an easy walk or bike ride to the beach and restaurants. The studio is very well designed and built, bright with large windows and beautiful hardwood floors. The kitchen is well-equipped. I enjoyed the sitting area in the garden.

I am a cook, gardener, and I love France and Italy. I loved this property the minute I discovered it. I hope that you will also enjoy the contemporary feel of this home. I grew up in Europe and also in the mountains of North Carolina; the sophistication and yet sense of nature at the home appealed to me immediately. My father was an architect. He would have loved this property and I am sorry he never got to see it.

It is delightful! a private patio with non-fruiting olive tree and a light filled main room. There is room to dance and to do a movement practice. There is a wonderful sound system and the kitchen was created for a real cook. I love the colors and the hand held European shower in the bathroom. The lighting is fabulous, and I have decorated with Haitian and Mexican paintings as well as photographs of France and a Balinese hanging. Nothing is funky about the place...

You can walk or bike to down town and to local restaurants such as ' La Posta', 'linda's', ' Lillian's' and ' The Buttery'. The neighborhood is terrific. My favorite thing to do is to walk over to Verve for coffee, then down Seabright beach and the Walton Lighthouse...or you could go to Aldo's' and hang out!!!

Seabright, Santa Cruz, and all the benefits our community has to offer. A little patio with Proteas and other Australian plantings. I live at the back of the property and in the summer, will offer you vegetables as they grow. There is french and spanish lavender and rosemary in the garden as well.
