Great Stay in Spring Lake

Great time, property within walking distance to the lake. Clean and big as advertised. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area

Great location

It fit our family nicely. It was close to Grand Haven, which was a plus. The area was nice and easy to get around. Nice area and beautiful beaches. We all had a great time! The company was great to work with.

We had a great time in the house. The house was a walking distance to the local beach but had to drive 10 mins to the state beach. The size of the house worked out for us: 5 adults and 6 kids. The essentials like toiletries and kitchen supplies were provided.Cons: the house was very dusty. The living room carpet was not properly vacuum. It seemed like this house does not get rented out that much. The house is old and would appreciate it if they did little upgrade so it can be more comfortable and pleasing to stay. I would not rent this house again.

good location and clean

Lots of good things - the location is good, the property was clean, and having several living areas and dining room table made it easy to congregate. The upper deck is a plus. Only thing that was a problem was that the upper bunk of the bunk bed has such an incredibly small clearance that it is unusable, even a small child would not be able to sit up in it.

Great Location!

The place was VERY clean and updated. Plenty of space to congregate and hang out. We spent a lot of time playing board games at the outdoor patio tables. Loved going to the beach on Lake Michigan. Also enjoyed the free summer concert series on the river. One thing to keep in mind- there's a lot of steps. There is 1 bedroom on the same level as a bathroom. The other bedrooms are upstairs with no bathroom on that floor. Our group didn't have an issue with this, but I can see others who have trouble climbing stairs running into problems.

The place is pretty clean and little to no bugs inside despite outside being buggy but I can tell deep cleaning doesn’t happen often. When a toy would roll under the tv stand or bed, it came out incredibly dusty. The side tables were very dusty. One room in the photos shows bunk beds but those and the window AC were gone in one room. So the room all the kids were going to sleep in, no longer suited them so we had to buy a fan and husband and I slept in separate beds in the hot room. The seating in the house was great for all of us. Outside area was a lot of fun. The location was perfect as well. Very close drive to many things and a little beach right down the road. We really enjoyed our stay.

The beds were debunked the ladder was a continued safety hazard. Again, thank you so much for your feedback and the generous review. Very nice stay at this property. Close to to Spring Lake with public park. House is wonderful for families, roomy kitchen and open spaces. Close to many Lake Michigan beaches, restaurants, activities and sites.
