Great location and beautiful view of lake. Didn’t have the best weather while we stayed but made the best of it. Would stay again and recommend to others!

Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with our family. We were dropping two of our children off at college and this made for a memorable family vacation. The cottage is clean, peaceful and is exactly as pictured.

We stayed at this wonderful Keuka house to connect with family at a reunion near Penn Yan. The child zip line was a huge hit, as were the kayaks. The front porch is really the jewel of this home, just perfect. Keuka Lake is a family favorite.

Our first trip to Keuka Lake. We spent so much time on the front Porch overlooking the lake. The kids loved the zipline in the side yard. I heard from many locals how great the location is for fishing, which we experienced as well. The upstairs can get hot in the summer heat so pack and extra fan if possible. A fantastic experience and would definitely return to this house again.

Lovely vacation

The property was everything we hoped it would be. It was a relaxing location where we could sit on the porch and watch the water. The cabin is very comfortable and was spacious for our family of 3.

Great house and location

We enjoyed the house and location by the lake very much. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was also a good location for taking walks and near Penn Yan for dining options

What an amazing home in an amazing location. I loved the convenience of having a dock for our boat steps away from the house, my wife loved the kitchen layout and the kids loved the zip line. Danielle was such a gracious hostess…thank you! Book here immediately if you want a perfect vacation getaway.

July stay

We had a wonderful time! The home was well kept and had all the supplies and amenities we needed. The lake, surrounding area’s wineries and breweries were all a lot of fun for all.

30th Anniversary

Setting is amazing. Cottage is lovely and surroundings are picturesque. Absolutely loved everything about this gem and I would return every year if I could.

Exceeded all our expectations!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home along the lake. Spent many hours on the dock with kids playing on the swim platform. Enjoyed the covered porch and fire pit. Well appointed vacation home. You will enjoy time spent relaxing at this beautiful home!

Memorial Day Weekend getaway

Our group of 5 friends stayed here for MDW and really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and nicely decorated and was a great location to access all the wineries and breweries nearby. We spent time enjoying the lake access, using the Adirondack chairs in the backyard, as well as lounging on the covered patio in the mornings. Close by to Tops in case you need to pick up any groceries. Would come back again!

Close enough to walk to the ceremony. Perfect location, has everything you need. Perfect "get away" spot on the lake or to tour the wineries. TG

We loved this property! Very clean, well stocked and steps to the lake. The boys took advantage of the kayaks, and we had a fire every night. We will be back! Thank you Danielle!

Second stay BLISS!

Our past stay is the second time in two years we have stayed at Anchor Away. We absolutely love the home and its location. The street is not busy, no power lines to look through for a lake view, AC is perfect, front porch is devine, friendly neighbors, kayaks are awesome, the list goes on. The house is close to Penn Yan and of course, SENECA FARMS!!!

Relaxing Oasis!

Beautiful property. Our favorite part of the house was the front porch! We ate all of our meals here, played cards, and watched the evening lightening storms. We went for daily walks in the neighborhood, read books in the hammock and made s’mores in the fire pit by the dock. Very comfortable and relaxing home.

Beautiful lake house

We spent a long weekend for our anniversary and had a great time. Kayaks were so fun to have because the water was a bit chilly but kids loved swimming and jumping off the dock. House was great and close to Penn Yan for any needs. The zip line was also a big hit! Loved everything about it!

A wonderfully relaxing week at the Lake!

This house is perfect in every way -- location, amenities, decor, size, water access. We loved our stay. Every detail has been attended to and it is just as comfortable and cozy as it looks in the photos. We spent a part of each day touring vineyards and breweries, hiking, and driving the beautiful countryside before returning to the house to kayak, read at the water's edge, and sip cocktails around the fire pit. Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful place!

A Perfect Week

A great location for swimming, launching a canoe or just soaking up the rays. Loved the floating dock! You can tell the cottage was lovingly restored, with so many personal touches. And Danielle responded quickly to every question I had. A perfect host!!!

The owners care a lot about their property and it shows. Even got ideas to what we would like to do with our own home. One inexpensive upgrade would be a ladder to the dock - ideally similar to neighbors’: higher and not wobbly nor slippery.
