This beautiful, oceanfront home is in one of the most desirable locations on Ocean Isle Beach. Come and relax on the 2-level porch, in the hot tub, or in your private, heated swimming pool. Enjoy your own boardwalk to the beach and beautiful days on the picturesque North Carolina coast. Gather with friends and family in the home's spacious living and dining areas and entertain with a fully stocked kitchen.

This home has six large and comfortable bedrooms, each with their own bath. All bedrooms have spacious closets and television.

The home offers both garage and driveway parking for 5-6 cars. It's a 1/2 mile walk to the center of Ocean Isle where you can enjoy restaurants, ice cream, bars, shopping, and family activities like miniature golf. The home's proximity to more than 60 North and South Carolina golf courses also makes it the perfect spot for golf enthusiasts.

The home is equipped with high speed, wireless internet. There are also amenities for young children including a pack & play, safety gates, and a high chair. You can choose to heat the pool at $65/day.

We do not rent our home for weddings or parties.

Family New Year Eve Gathering

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. We had 8 adults and 8 kids under the age of 8. This house provided more than enough space, amenities and beautiful views. It was clean and ready upon arrival. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen you've ever seen. Think Keurig and regular coffee pot. Everything was there and more! We loved having most of the rooms upstairs to not wake up everyone when the kids were in the living room. The pool was a hit! The kids enjoyed the heated pool for the winter days and we were never cold. The kids biked to the park and local shops and only took a few minutes. Truly the best few days together and will make this annual tradition moving forward!

Girlfriends trip was perfect.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house. It was beautiful, fully stocked, clean, and right at the ocean. We loved that it was perfectly set up for 11 of us to sit together comfortably in the living room, kitchen or patio. We also loved the pool and jacuzzi. We have already booked our stay for 2025. Swings and Roundabouts = A Beach Wonder!

We just returned from a long weekend at Swings and Roundabouts, a first stay for us. We are six couples on the "mature" side who have booked a house annually at OIB for about a decade, and before that on Emerald Isle. We look for and have seen our share of houses, looking to find those that are affordable, ocean front, and a minimum of 6 bedrooms and baths. S&R seemed perfect on paper! The first thing to know is Lauren the property manager is AWESOME, always answering every question pre-trip promptly and completely, and generous with suggestions for our stay. As each couple arrived, the first impression was always how CLEAN and SPACIOUS the house was! And ready for us, too - beds neatly made, bath towels handy, ice maker full, hot tub running, etc. Perfect! While the layout is a bit quirky at first, all six couples agreed they were satisfied with the size and appearance of the bedrooms, and each with a private bathroom. Perfect! Two dining room tables (seat 14 at least). a large, fully equipped kitchen (extra fridge in the garage), a large deck off the family room, large tv with cable with plenty of seating, and a large pool, which although we chose not to use it this trip was lit up beautifully at night. Great golf, tennis and pickleball within a ten minute drive. Perfect! I could go on, but suffice to say it was agreed by all that this was the nicest house we've stayed at over the years, and we have already started to make plans to return in 2025!

2024 overview

This is the 6th year we have rented this house. We love the layout and location. This is the first time ever that the kitchen and master bath were not thoroughly cleaned after the previous renters which was not how I wanted to start my vacation. Otherwise, it was perfect for our family. We have already booked for our 7th year!

TLC Needed

The house is spacious and in a good location. The first floor (kitchen/living room area) are fairly updated. The view is amazing. However, we were overall disappointed in the house for several reasons. The blinds are old, rusted, and broken in many areas. The bathrooms are extremely outdated, particularly the master, with cracking paint in many areas. The carpet was also on the older side with several stains. Though the pool is nice, it was only cleaned once during our stay and was filthy the last 3 days of the trip. There is little to no landscaping. Also, there were not TVs in each bedroom. One bathroom has no hot water. Finally, there was an intrusion of cockroaches in the upper deck area in the main outside area. Because of this, we did not feel comfortable gathering outside after the second night. Luckily, the host was very receptive and helpful and had the cockroach issue addressed. Overall, the house has good bones but needs a lot of TLC. Sadly, it was no where worth the 13k per week and I would not recommend staying at this house.

Close to the beach

The house is really nice. There were a few things wrong when we got there, but were fixed within a reasonable amount of time. There were 10 of us and the house was plenty big. We liked that there was an extra refrigerator downstairs for drinks. There are two large garages that you could park in to keep your vehicle cool and they came in handy when we were leaving it in the morning because it was raining really bad and we needed to load the car. It would’ve been better if the walk way went out over the sand dunes because if you have elderly or somebody that doesn’t walk well it was hard to get over the them. The hose on the walkway was nice to get the sand off of you before you went into the house or the pool or the hot tub and the outdoor shower also came in handy. I would suggest having Windex because of the glass top tables in the house, and it would be nice if the windows were cleaned more often. We did really enjoy our stay.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our week at this house. This was our first time to Ocean Isle and staying oceanfront. Both were great. There were 13 in our group and we all had plenty of space. Some of our favorite things at this house were the views from the deck, having a pool/hot tub and easy access to the beach.

Easy booking, wonderful location

This house had it all. Located within walking distance of the pier in ocean isle but far enough away the beach wasn’t too crowded. The house had great amenities and was stocked with everything you’d need for the beach. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well laid out. The property owner was great to deal with. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you!

Great House for a family beach trip

Great location, easy to get all your stuff to the beach and back, pretty much everything you need in a roomy house for the beach. We had 9 adults, and 7 kids under 8y/o and never felt like we were cramped. The best views of the ocean from the decks!

Post Holiday Decompression

Travelled with party of 11 - 2 large families comprised of high school and college-aged kids and parents. Location was perfect and view from the deck was gorgeous and the best way to start and end our days. Plenty of bedding, more than enough space for everyone to spread out - but enough space for us all to be together to play games and hang out in the family room. Kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. Kids LOVED the hot tub and heated pool - got lots of use during our unseasonably cold visit. The layout for the master bedroom upstairs might be described as “unique” and the parents who stayed in that room had temperature regulation issues but it wasn’t anything that would prevent us from staying here again. All in all this house was perfect for our two families to hang out, relax and “recover” from the holiday season!

Ocean Isle Beach Home

This house was amazing! The open first floor with all the windows was great. Spacious bedrooms and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a very welcome part of the house. Couldn’t have asked for a better view of the ocean!! Would definitely recommend.

Family/Friends Vacation

We had an amazing time, this house is very spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen is completely stocked with many different spices and appliances. Each bedroom was very nice sized and each had their own bathroom which is so nice. It’s exactly like the description with 1 exception there weren’t tv’s in every room which for some of us it wasn’t a big deal but with others it was. I needed to contact the property manager Jamie and let me tell you she was on it, she answered my questions in a quick and timely manner and she was very pleasant. The pool was super nice and there are a ton of floats, toys etc. downfall was the lights didn’t work in the pool so it was kinda dark to swim at night but rest assured they were notified and I’m sure they will definitely take care of it. I would definitely recommend this home and we will be back that’s for sure. Thank you!!

OIB vacation, July 2023

There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 4 to 80. The six bedrooms & baths were wonderful, everyone had their own accommodations + an extra 1/2 bath on the main level. We had 5 cars & 2 golf carts, plenty of room to park all. The kitchen was fully equipped, plenty of room to eat at the same table. The living room accommodated all of us as did the covered porch. It was great to gather, play games and visit. The pool was so enjoyable, all ages used it daily. The toys and extra items in the garage were made use of by most of us. Having all the beds made, towels & wash cloths provided when we arrived was once again great. The location was so good, 7 tenths of a mile to the traffic circle + the ice cream & slushy places. We never ran out of hot water. The beach was wonderful, plenty of room for umbrellas & chairs. The landing on the walkway to the beach was good for our umbrellas & chairs overnight, plus the shower to rinse off coming up from the beach. For 3 of us that were older, it was a challenge to get through the sand dunes from the bottom of the steps to the beach. Some places had walkways & steps over the dunes. Highly recommended place to stay in OIB.

Ocean Isle Beach vacation

Very nice ocean front property. We have rented this property many times over the years. The housekeeping was awesome, the pool is great and the space works well for our group of 12. The benefit of being ocean side can not be overstated.

Family Fun

The house was very clean and comfortable for our 14 family members. Spacious living area , bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool area was a lot of fun. No major issues, but the property manager, Jamie, was great, responding quickly and thoroughly to questions. Only recommendation would be to extend the walkway to the beach over the dunes.

Reunion in paradise

AGreat property for large groups. Glad we splurged on the heated pool as we had lots of young children and weather was chillier than we hoped. Fully stocked kitchen made meal prep for large group easier. Ample beach accessories! Can’t beat the easy beach access for trips back and forth to the house with little kids.

Amazing home and location for large or multi families

Cannot beat the view, beach. Pool and hot tub perfect. Each bedroom is large with its own bath. Beds were comfy. Kitchen and dining areas large enough to seat everyone for meals. Lots of privacy for everyone. Owner/housekeeper promptly responded to questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

We wanted something oceanfront… something well built and with good flow. Everything about this home fit that bill. Talk about 'location, location, location;' this home could not be in a more perfect spot.

Our home offers easy access to the beach via a private boardwalk. There are plenty of open spaces both inside and outside of the house, and there are also quiet places where you can tuck away and escape from the world. We keep our home very clean and have the BEST property manager on the island.
