Curtain hardware broken and no curtain over the master bedroom window. Sliding door off the track. Tub drain leaked and handle to turn water on to tub didn’t work- had to turn behind the handle. Water and ice in refrigerator door didn’t work. Property management did install curtain on window and fix the sliding door while we were there but that was it.

It's was beautiful condo with a beautiful view and close to a lot of things. No beach balcony( I should have looked at the listing closer) and very limited bath towels, no beach towels and no dish soap. The elevator had a few issues and long wait times. All the beds where uncomfortable. I'm new to the VRBO game and got extremely lucky last year with my first stay so maybe all this is normal

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback—we truly appreciate it! We're glad you enjoyed the condo and views. We're sorry to hear about the towel shortages and missing amenities like dish soap. Those are easy fixes we can address right away with our housekeeping team. We're also concerned about the elevator issues and uncomfortable beds—neither should happen. We'd love to make this right. You deserve a great experience, and we're committed to delivering that!

The cookware was not well cleaned, We had to find another way to clean the skillets, in particular. Having 3 bedrooms was veery helpful for us. We provided our own facial tissues, but would have appreciated an extra roll of TP for at least one of the bathrooms. We learned on the last day that there is a pool-side closet with some water toys that we would have enjoyed. The space was comfortable and gave each of us some privacy as well as gathering space. Even when weather was less beach-like we could find other things to do. overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the condo and the excellent view. The construction noise and disruption to parking must have been frustrating. As the condo owner, I appreciate you understanding that this was out of my control. I hope the rest of your stay was pleasant, and we would be happy to welcome you back once the construction is complete.

The view was amazing. There were three bedrooms and three full bathrooms with lots of options for our large family to each have their own space. The host provided some extras: laundry pods, dishwasher packs, sponges and dis soap. Loads of towels, basic soaps and shampoo/conditioners. There kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, utensils, silverware, three coffee makers, blender, and enough plates and bowels for a large group. There were no spices, condiments or basic baking/cooking supplies. No complaint there, just an observation. I would return specifically to that unit if we return to Gulf Shores.
This was my daily coffee and meditation spot by the window
The pool with morning visitor
Fun alternative idea to sign a shell before leaving.

Condo was very nice, clean and it was great being right on the beach. The bed in the 2nd bedroom was very uncomfortable. Seemed it needed a new mattress or bed frame, it sagged in the middle. Also some blackout curtains would have been nice because of the light in the hallway shining in the room. The tv controls were confusing, it would have been nice to have instructions on what each remote controlled. Overall it was everything we wanted for our vacation.

Very nice condo. Perfect for our girls trip! The pool was never overly crowded. The property was always clean. We had an issue with the washing machine which turned out to be human error but once we alerted VHC someone showed up in a timely manner. I would definitely stay at Edgewater West again!
