Cute little apartment close to the beach
My family of 5 stayed here for 20 days in May. The location is probably the best part, Ocean Beach is close to a lot of tourist-y things in San Diego, like the Zoo, downtown, Old Town, the beach and Cabrillo. The apartment itself is well located too, close to a grocery store, a few restaurants, and a 10min walk from the beach. It was clean and tidy when my family arrived and they were able to cook half the time with the basic cookware that was provided. We made good use of the beach chairs and beach umbrella during our stay. The parking is a bit tight, but you get used to it pretty quick, plus it's an indoor garage, so you can feel safe about your car there, as it's locked and covered.Some minor issues were that the wifi was a bit spotty on some days, where it would disconnect for an hour or two. But the hosts replied quickly and restarted the router, so that fixed it usually. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, and other guests stay in the unit below as well as the other unit nearby, so the common spaces are shared. This was generally fine, but some days, some of the other guests were a bit loud. This 100% depends on the other guests, but the apartment has quiet hour rules, which all the guests did abide by, thankfully.Overall, very satisfied with the stay at this cute little apartment that could easily fit 5 people with friendly, responsive hosts and there were no major issues!
