This beautiful property is a former working farm and features 3 bedrooms with 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. With 2 full bathrooms and spacious living areas, guests can enjoy the peace and comfort of this fully restored home after a day of exploring. The living rooms offer additional sleeping space with futon and air mattress available. Fully fenced yard, dog friendly. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer. The location is great if you want to be out in the country. The nearby beach at Sturgeon Bay is beautiful. The house itself is clean and comfortable. There are nice trails to walk on the property. We loved our stay.

The house was so clean it seemed brand new. Plenty of supplies (dishes, towels, shampoo, etc.) to satisfy our needs and ample parking. Very little traffic on the road...slept the best I have slept in months!

Five-Star Review — Restful Rural Retreat Absolutely Wonderful — A True Hidden Gem!Our stay at Restful Rural Retreat in Bliss was absolutely tremendous! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The home was beautiful, peaceful, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home.But what made our stay even more special were the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take great pride in making sure everyone has a wonderful experience. They even had areas in the house to charge all your devices. The setting was exactly what we were hoping for — quiet, relaxing, and surrounded by the beauty of the countryside. The hiking trails were a nice addition. It was the perfect place to unwind, yet there was still plenty to enjoy in the area. This place was better than staying at the Grand Hotel. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Restful Rural Retreat is a five-star experience in every way, and the House Hosts are phenomenal hosts! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable getaway.Thank you,, for making our stay so wonderful! We loved every minute of it!

The property is beautiful and the house very nicely updated. There are several places to hang out making the house feel very comfortable for our group. Well-stocked kitchen with coffee/tea on hand and bathrooms have shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. It was also really dark a short walk on the trail behind the house, perfect for stargazing! Host was easy to work with, we left thinking we would definitely come back here the next time we head to this part of the state.

Better than expected!!

This VRBO is in a beautiful location near Mackinaw City and hiking trails. The listing looked good but the actual house was better than we expected from the pictures. The hosts were easy to work with and the house is very clean, well kept, and spacious. Our dog loved the outside and the fenced yard. We loved the landscaping as well. Great space
