Lovely, comfortable and fully equipped rental, perfect for 2 couples in town for the French Quarter Fest. Quiet and safe neighbourhood near Charles streetcar and excellent coffee shop on Magazine St.

This location is perfect for Garden District walks and all the offerings NOLA has for visitors! Josh was easy to communicate with and so very helpful. The space has everything you could think of and is very comfortable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to book.

The property was in a perfect location for exploring the Garden District. Onsite parking was a plus to be able to park in an actual spot and avoid parking on the street. The house was very spacious, super clean, and decorated tastefully. The beds were extremely comfortable. The AC worked great as well. Josh, the host, was communicative before and during our stay to answer any questions. I would recommend this property if you are visiting NOLA and want a quiet and peaceful location!

Great Location and Place to Stay

Great location, very clean space, and the rooms were huge. Stayed 3 nights with my family which includes a 5,3, and 1 year old and everyone had a great time. The kids loved the garden area. I would stay here again next time I am in New Orleans.

Beautiful space Extremely Clean and well stocked with supplies. easy blocks off of the St Charles parade route. Off street parking kept our side mirrors safe from sloppy drivers. Beautiful neighborhood felt very safe. The courtyard out back is cute and spacious. Beds were so comfy and everything was perfect. Host was available for questions and responded quickly and helpfully. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Great place as advertised!

The property was great!!! Had off street parking, the home was lovely with comfy beds, and there was plenty of room for both couples! Location is great; centrally located between Bourbon and upper Garden with ease of access to all of our favorites. Would happily stay here again. Thank you Josh!

NOLA Charm and Modern Comfort couldn’t describe the house any better! The house was beautiful and had everything we wanted when we planned our trip to New Orleans. The neighborhood was beautiful, and we loved walking around looking at the architecture of the houses. We were easily able to walk to the trolley on St Charles and to the shops on Magazine, as well as to the coffee each morning down the street. Josh was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed, and he responded quickly to any questions that we had. I highly recommend staying here for any New Orleans trip! I certainly will be staying here again!

This house is in a great location, walking distance to all we needed in the Garden District. It has all the charm we were looking for in our weekend rental and was well appointed. I didn’t realize the primary bedroom was upstairs. It wasn’t an issue for us but wanted to note it in case you also missed it in the description. The beds are SO comfortable and Josh, our host, was responsive and accommodating.

The perfect New Orleans vibe

This house was perfection. I used to live in New Orleans so I wanted the perfect place to show my family around! Not only was the neighborhood safe, but it was walking distance to the St. Charles street car and bars like the avenue pub, tacos and beer and the hot tin roof top. Also walking distance to magazine! 10/10 location. The house itself was immaculate. It was so clean and had everything we needed! There were so many extra towels, washer and dryer (with tide pods) shampoo, conditioner, etc, etc. Everything to make our stay easy was a part of the house. Plus it was CUTE! Once again, the perfect New Orleans vibe. An added bonus - the beds and pillows were so comfortable, my aunt and I have already bought them on Amazon. Josh was so quick to respond and even allowed us early check in! He was great and made this entire process easy and seamless. I could go on and on about how perfect this place is, but you should check it out yourself!!

Mardi Gras Getaway

This was the perfect place for our Mardi Gras Vacation. We had 2 families coming to the city to enjoy the uptown parades during Mardi Gras. Our host was very accommodating, and responsive to all of our requests and needs. The home is in a great location, safe, and centrally located halfway between St. Charles and Magazine Streets. The unit comes with 1 dedicated parking spot, but we were offered an additional spot for our stay and it was so great to have parking for both cars during the parades, especially on Mardi Gras. We walked to St Charles and set up for parades everyday, so not having to worry about parking was a huge help. The home is a classic New Orleans style home and the proportions of the rooms make the unit feel very big. They had every thing we needed to make our stay enjoyable and easy. The beds were very comfortable, and they had all the items we needed from dishware, cooking utensils, towels etc. we needed to cook, do laundry and prepare for parades. This home is a great location to enjoy all that New Orleans has to offer. If you are looking for a true city experience staying in the Garden District has all the charm and beauty of the city but in a safe quiet area. But you have accessibility to the rest of the city just a streetcar ride away.

VRBO sent us to the wrong address and the unit was empty. The security code we were given opened 3 different houses (people were living in one of the houses!!! NOT SAFE). We had to ask for a new code!! The owner NEVER answered his phone/texts when we were clearly in distress after driving 13 hours. Even VRBO reps were unable to reach him! We can say the beds were 100% comfortable and the location was convenient to catch the street car. But in an area where there are many wasted homeless people walking/sleeping, security MUST be a priority. Here's a list of the other problems. •Upstairs bathroom shower has crappy water pressure and is like a coffin. Shower head sucks.• Monday at 4am upstairs the smoke detector went off for 20min. • Ice maker was a solid block of freezer- burned ice and after cleaning it, doesn't make ice very well (extremely slow)• The front keypad, the button "3" sticks and had to be pressed and pressed many times to get in.• The upstairs bedrooms are like a sauna and we had to buy a fan when it was 110F• There are no dressers for clothing, no luggage rack to put your suitcase on• 5th step up has an unsafe nail popped up from the wood
