Immaculate, recently updated all rooms, close to fairgrounds a definite find. Onsite welcoming host.

Between the consistant beeping, the incorrect electrical with three GFI receptacles running the kitchen. Bathroom faucet was put on backwards. Beds were decent. Unfortunately didn't get the code to the door through VRBO had to contact the host. He was very helpful after realizing there was no hand soap in the bathroom.

In comparison to other BnB's we've stayed at, this one falls short for the price we paid. Some of the light switches didn't work; there were other people's towels on the bathroom floor; stairway railing was loose; no stairway railing on outside with crumbling steps; backyard had garbage everywhere; fence was broken. It was a mediocre place to stay but a few amenities such as games, books or puzzles or a cozy chair or 2 would go a long way for customer satisfaction.

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to everything including the State Fair. Host was very attentive. I would recommend.

The home was clean; however, it had more drawbacks than benefits. The stairs leading to the entrance had no handrails, which is a definite safety hazard, and they were also in need of repair.Upon entering, the home had a stale odor with a lingering smell of old cigarette smoke. The bathroom sink only had cold water, although the shower did provide hot water. The washcloths and towels appeared old and worn, and the freezer was not cold enough to freeze 8-ounce bottles of water.The property provides only the basics, so if you plan to stay here, it's a good idea to bring your own body wash and other personal toiletries. I also had to ask for the Wi-Fi password four times before finally receiving it.Benefits - Safe neighborhood, Clean, close to entertainment center and shopping

We arrived at 6 pm and the cleaning people were still there. The owner had forgotten our booking until I contacted him at 4 pm for check in instructions. We were not able to get inside before going to a concert. When we got back at 12 am, the cleaner had not locked the door and the other door was left open/ajar, in not the best neighborhood. The place itself was as described.

The house is not accurately represented with the pictures provided. Was more like a college town student apartment with bare necessities. Refrigerator and freezer did not cool. Set on coldest setting, we had to throw food away. Broken glass on porch. Plus side was close to the NYS FAIR.

Pictures did this too much justice

My family and I were in town for a lacrosse tournament and looking for a place to stay near the event. Pictures looked nice for the price and space, however, felt very mislead. I was never sent check in information, and upon arrival walking into the entryway we were greeted with a pile of broken glass in the one corner and ut being very dirty. I placed my items on the coffee table and it was on the verge of falling over. The fridge in the kitchen was beeping and upon opening it, i found spoiled milk and other left over items, and a smell that matched, and we could not get it to stay cold the entire stay- luckily we had a cooler, but not optimal at all when we expected a working fridge. The upstairs was close to 80 degrees and no air conditioning was running or plugged in, and furniture in the one upstairs room was also ready to fall over and dangerous for small children to be around. I understand this is an old house, but it was not even remotely ready for someone to be renting it, we were very dissatisfied.

Nice 3-bedroom home. Clean and stocked with necessities like bedding and towels. Only hang up we had was determining which unit was the Vrbo. There appears to be 3 or so units in the same building. The owner picked up immediately when we called and we got in within minutes. Great proximity to the fair grounds and amphitheater.
