This was a perfect place for our family vacation, and our son to propose to his girlfriend. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely be returning. Anyone looking for a fabulous place to stay needs to rent one of these beautiful cabins.

Unit was well equipped for our family retreat. Great grands loved the pool & hottub. Adults loved the king beds and en suite baths.

We found the place to be very nice, roomy and a perfect place for a five women reunion. It was definitely very nice that all five bedrooms had its own bathroom. Another positive was the location. It was close to grocery stores and restaurants yet situated amongst trees and views of the mountains.During our stay, the place and surroundings were peaceful with some daily construction but wasn't much of a problem. All and all we would choose to stay here again.

Couldn't ask for anything better. Location was great, easy check in. The family loved it. Everything perfect. They didn't want to leave. Host was awsome she responded quick and was all attentive to any we needed. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

Nice Getaway

We took family & friends to Tennessee for my sons 15th birthday, and he invited 6 friends to go with him. We had a great time & the boys really enjoyed the pool & hot tub. We had plenty to do at the property and we were close to other area attractions. Abe & Kate were amazing hosts, and they were quick to answer any and all question. We had a great time and will stay with them again.

Let me start by saying this was a family vacay with my Dad who has cancer and survived Chemo and our first family trip and like a bucket list kind of trip so extremely important! Check in was easy with a code, the rooms looked cleaned at first.. then we pulled back the sheets. Debris, hair, used maxi pad on the side of another bed, empty makeup box, rickety furniture that literally wobbled if touched. Broken chairs, spider web and spider in basement bathroom, faucet that was extremely loose when turning it on. There was no grill and I swear it said there was - it was installed Friday afternoon when we left on Saturday, we packed coolers of frozen meats to grill, every time we used the oven smoke detector went off because it was dirty or something. The basement bed was wiggly it felt like it was going to collapse, broken broom to sweep, nothing to clean with while we stayed. I could honestly keep going. When I contacted the host I felt like it was auto reply VRBO got involved and told me they use their own software and the host would rectify. They sent a maintenance person out to address some of these issues and sent him with clean bedding.. mind you I had already told the host I had order laundry detergent to wash my bedding. I have used a different platform until now and have never had issues, this was a stressfull start to our vacation. Thankfully - after VRBO was involved they came in and fixed or attempted to rectify.

Overall a very good experience. It was a Very spacious house. All rooms have bathrooms so it was very convenient to be there with a big family. Good amenities. We liked that there was a keurig coffee machine( however would’ve appreciated having some coffee k-cups there as well. Unfortunately we found the pool not clean but the host was pretty good with communication and were ready to get it cleaned up the next day. Also one of the bathroom sink and tub was clogged. Probably the cleaning company needs to pay more attention. We frequently visit smoky mountains. This was definitely one of the most modern, new and comfortable places that we’ve stayed at. I only wish that the houses are not build so close to each other for a bit of more privacy but I’m sure the Builder wants to maximize the use of land.

Most important item from this post is the property is owned and managed by a company that has several units in this development. So VRBO will be no help. They told me the company only uses the VRBO platform. Which means you are on your on dealing with the owners management company. While there management company will respond in a timely manner my A/C did not get fixed in a timely manner. And on top of that you will not get the house you rented. They moved us to an entirely different property one that was older and in need of numerous repairs. When we arrived the heat was set on 90 degrees on the 2nd floor, it was around 78 degrees. We assumed someone made a mistake and flipped on the heat. We turned the A/C on set it to 68 and went to dinner. When we got back it was 84 degrees on the 2nd floor. When I messaged the management company they were aware that the A/C was not working prior to our arrival and the maintance people had turned the heat on and set it at 90 to “thaw out the unit”. No notification was made to us, we were not offered a different unit no accommodation was offered at all. This went on for 3 nights of a 5 night stay. I played repair person for 3 days, taking pictures of units, inside and outside and thermostat settings. Also, the pool and hot tub were not clean. I ask for 3 night refund which was not give. I was offered a 30% refund excluding taxes and fees which is about 1 night. No help from VRBO. Beware “bate and switch scam”.

I would avoid this property and this host at all costs. In hindsight, we have found many similar reviews for these properties and the owner/rental company. I would recommend doing your due diligence. The major issue here is cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. Several of our guests, including children, received swimmers rash which lasted several weeks due to an unsanitary and underchlorinated pool. This is a health and safety issue which VRBO seemed unconcerned with (their support is terrible). The host offered us 20% refund for the nights which the issue occurred (i.e. 20% off two nights, which would have amounted to about 80 total. A laughable amount). Besides this, the listing also mentions that the hot tub is completely emptied and cleaned each time. We noticed on two occasions that the cabins on either side of ours were not emptied. The cleaning staff simply put a hose in and let the water overflow the hot tub. We received an email from the host before check-in that "some college kids" had recently stayed there and messed the place up. Other reviews we found noted that they've been sending this same email our for months. There was construction debris everywhere (a sawhorse and car part in the front "lawn". Kitchen cabinets were missing handles (lol) and there were paint droppings, loose towel racks, etc throughout. Just a complete lack of care in my opinion.

Rooms where very clean. We did find mouse dropping ins the cookwear. we contacted the group running the rental due to the propane tank being empty on the firepit night one it did not arive till.our last night around 4pm so we got.it for one night. Warning about how slick the concrete is around the pool would be recomended my child fell muptiple times had to put water shoes on him for grip. Hot tub was very cold when we arrived. It warmed up nicley thoug. The pool was great for it size.
