We have extremely lovely stay and would highly recommend it. Its extremely close to the downtown area, an easy walk to a bunch of the restaurants and stores. The space was perfect for us and was very kid friendly.Hosts were extremely responsive and even immediately brought over a new baby gate when we let the know that it was missing.Highly recommend Casa Fresa and Cape Charles as perfect family escape.

This property was an excellent experience! It is tastefully decorated, the beds are very comfortable, everything was very clean and updated. It has everything a family needs for a vacation stay at the beach…and I mean everything! It was dog-friendly for our two lovely labs but one would never guess they allow dogs as visitors, too. The fenced-in back yard/patio is a real plus. The neighborhood was quiet and we were steps away from the park for an easy stroll with our pups. Only a few easy blocks to the beach or historic downtown made this an ideal location. Our host was very responsive and gave us great tips on where to go to get a full experience. Every visitor to Cape Charles should make it a point to visit the Barrier Islands Center, located just 10 minutes north…it provides an excellent history of those whom relied on this part of the Eastern Shore for their livelihood. Once visiting the Center we had a deeper understanding of the many shore locations we explored but don’t have much in terms of historical signage (this is a feature that makes a visit not feel commercial in any way, thank goodness). The She-Crab Soup at the E&O Pub was delicious and the crab cakes at The Shanty were some of the best we’ve ever had (no fillers, just crab)! Thanks for a wonderfully memorable visit!

Amazing beach getaway

What a great house! The house is a block of downtown - close to everything. Parking is right out front and couldn't be easier. The house itself is clean and well organized with everything you could need - beach chairs out in the shed, games and cards, and cute dishes and glassware. Great linens on the beds and the blackout curtains are perfect for keeping out the heat. All the instructions are super clear and easy. Cape Charles is a hidden gem with an amazing beach, great restaurants and everyone was incredibly nice. We had two dogs with us and never had any issues.

The perfect spot

Casa Fresa was a great place to land for our first time in Cape Charles. The decor is beachy boho. Cleanliness was top-notch. Location was perfect with the park a few steps away from the townhouse. I especially appreciated all of the amenities that were provided including the beach backpack cooler, beach toys, pickleball equipment, and much more! My husband and son both loved the outdoor shower. The kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you need to cook at home. Although we rented a golf cart, Casa Fresa is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants/shops. Can't say enough about the location. We hope to book again in the future.

Nice, comfortable house in the heart of cape Chuck! Easy walk to downtown and beach. Enjoyed our stay, loved the quiet, relaxing neighborhood and kind, friendly people.
